Description of Work: In 2017, Mr. Brooks repaired my parents mahogany dining room table legs, which required a highly skilled furniture repair. Mr. Brooks did an excellent job. Mr. a Brooks also performed a second job of repairing a very ornately carved mahogany wooden leg, which was previously chewed by a dog. He did the repair and you cannot tell by even physically looking or physically examine that table leg. He also performed a third job of carefully removing a significant amount of handles which were covered with blackened tarnish (from 1940) from two dining room buffets and a large China cabinet. He also sprayed a protectant on the solid ornate brass hardware so that they would never tarnish again. It has been over two years later, and the brass hardware is still beautiful with NO tarnish. All dining room table legs repairs and the repair to the ornate living room table have all held up very well. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

Description of Work: I wanted to refurbish my 1971, 4 X 12 Celestion Green back slant Marshall cabinet (signed by Jim Marshall twice and had no idea where to take it and findind anyone to complete that task was next to impossible. I gave the Brooks Bros. out of despair, and Doug said to bring it in. Doug and Jessie took the old, shredded tolex off, sanded the cabinet down and re tolexed it with torquios tolex, and it looks amazing... If you need cosmetic help with your old or new cabinets, these are the guys to take your treasures to. Four stars Laramie Beckay [*** Link removed ***]

Description of Work: Repaired a sofa cushion. (Upholstered a rocking chairs years before this. I don't remember the cost, but I was highly pleased with the quality of the work.)
