I placed an inquiry for snow removal. Tom called and we played tag multiple times between phone calls and text messages. He committed to respond, then never followed through. He had many problems and always an excuse why he did not respond. He said he was very interested, had the necessary equipment including snow blowers and would be no problem. Then didn't hear from him. Based on his responsiveness I would be afraid to hire him as he may just be a no show when needed. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!

Very Bad Experience. Keep on changing dates of Project, finally appeared. Did very poor job of Yard cleaning and Mulching. Was suppose to do weekly Grass cutting. Never showed up for couple of weeks. Have to hire someone else in Emergency to cut Grass grown significantly, waiting for him to come. Can not be trusted.

We hired Tom for snow removal in the winter. After the blizzard, he showed up as promised and dug out our driveway. We were dug out before any of our neighbors and were satisfied with his service. Then, we hired Tom to do a spring clean up, mulch our flower beds and then to do bi-weekly mowings. We agreed on the price and scope of work on March 24th. He said he would come in a week or two. Then came the long list of excuses. First his truck was in the shop, then he was sick, waiting on mulch...one excuse after another. Meanwhile, our lawn was getting very long. I asked him to just come and mow, and of course more excuses. I finally told him that if he couldn't come, I would just do it myself, thinking he would be motivated by the loss of money and the fact that a client was doing his work. He jumped on it and told me it would be great if I could just mow the lawn. I gave up and mowed the front yard, and asked him to mow the side and back yards. Finally, on April 27, he came to do the mulching, clean up and remaining mowing. He did most of the mulching, but ran out of mulch so he couldn't finish one flower bed. He also only mowed a small patch of grass, and then he said he hit a rock which broke his mower so he couldn't do anymore. He told us he'd be back in a week or two to finish the mulching, and would come to finish the mowing when his mower was repaired. We again gave up and just mowed the remaining lawn ourselves that weekend, during which we found a ton of long branches which should have been removed from the back yard as part of the clean up. As of May 21, he has not returned to finish the mulching, and he has never come to mow the lawn. I contacted him asking when he was coming cause it had been 3 weeks and he was supposed to come every 2 weeks. He claimed he had been sick again but would be here that week. I waited until Wednesday, still a no show, and then I told him the lawn needed to be mowed by Thursday or we were going to fire him. He replied that Friday or Saturday would be better. Came home from work Friday (knowing it was forecasted to rain all day Saturday), and the lawn wasn't cut. Clearly he wasn't going to cut the lawn in the rain on Saturday. We gave up, my husband mowed the lawn and I fired Tom and hired a competitor. And the competitor is charging nearly the same rate, so I can't even say he was a bargain. It honestly seemed like he wasn't interested in doing the work. I don't know if he really was sick or his equipment broken all the times that he claimed it was, but you can't leave a client hanging for 2 months and expect to stay in business. I had to constantly reach out to him and push for him to come, and only then would he start giving his excuses about why he hadn't come. I consider myself to be a reasonable and patient person and I understand personal things come up and understand if something has to be rescheduled here and there. But in 2 months, he did 75% of the mulching, didn't fully remove all the branches for the clean up, and absolutely no mowing. The only time he was timely in communicating was when he wanted to know where his check was. This guy has no idea how to run a dependable business. Save yourself the headache and go with someone else.

He is eager to do a good job and demonstrate value. He provides a window of arrival and will provide photos of completed work if away from home at that time.

Tom was punctual and a very efficient worker. Fair pricing and easygoing.

Thomas responded to my initial request in less than 30 min. He is very professional and responsive. Always can communicate with him . Will definitely recommend him to people close to me and use his service in the future myself.

Overall service was excellent. Cut the grass, provided photos, was responsive - not sure I could expect or ask for anything more.

It took a little while to agree on a time because of weather and other commitments, but when the job was done I was very satisfied.

He never calls back. He said he would come on Saturday, he didn't come so I called him. Said he was waiting on expensive mulch from Allentown. When he finally did come I asked him to trim the hedges while he was cleaning the beds and laying the mulch. It didn't look like he did anything to the bushes. I called him to ask him to call back and do them. He said he would call me back on Tuesday. He never called. He always has an excuse. I finally just told him I'm done.

one of the few angie's list providers who bothered to respond and was willing to come out promptly and tackle a hard job which involved a lot of thick ice and snow removal on our walkways...very helpful

It went great, I have been using Tommy now for about two years, he is always on time and does a great job, other companies I have used in the past seemed to always be in such a rush to get done, leaving grass clippings on my driveway or back door. Tommy always takes the time needed to make sure my lawn is looking great, I can tell he enjoys what he is doing and takes pride in his job, the end results are always beautiful. He also will call you prior to cutting your grass if it has rained or the grass is to wet, which is great for me personally, It was really annoying when other places will cut it while it's soaking wet, leaving un-even spots, big tire tracks, clumps of wet grass all over the lawn and walk ways and the next day when it dries out now you have dried clumps of grass on your lawn, looks very un-kept, Not the case with Tommy's service. He has also done mulching of our flower beds, power washing our walkways and decks and spring and fall clean ups. I would recommend him to everyone who is looking for professional lawn care, not just someone to cut the grass.
