Description of Work: An urgent replacement of 4-6 feet of cast iron waste pipe that was cracked over half the length. I couldn't spit down a drain without it winding up on my driveway. Nichol's realized the urgency and responded accordingly w/o gouging me on the price. Timely in response and repair. I highly recommend the company and the technicians.

Description of Work: our old bathroom sink/vanity - no longer worked at all. the sink was not usable, water would not go down. I called Nichols and they came out right away. They told me their hourly rate. I purchased a new vanity cabinet and new faucet from Home Depot, they installed it for me. He removed old vanity, cleared the drain, installed new vanity, faucet. He also cleaned up after he was done, and removed all the trash, etc. Works and looks great. |The plumber that they sent was very nice and explained everything to me.

Description of Work: He stopped a slow running of water in toilet tank

Description of Work: I was trying to have an electronic thermostat (ecobee 3) installed. I purchased the thermostat prior. I explained what I needed to the receptionist and she said she checked with the "technician". I told her that I wouldn't be home for the appt but my contractor would. When the technician arrived he stated that the home owner needed to be present. It was rescheduled for the following Monday. The receptionist left me a message on Friday at 4P that we would have to reschedule since the technician was busy. I called on Monday and we rescheduled for Wednesday. I received a voice mail from the owner on Tuesday who said they really weren't familiar with the thermostat and I should go with someone else. Why did I waste over a week if this was the answer?
