WOW. I can't say enough about Jim. He originally did some deck repair and I had hime give me a quote on interior painting for over 2/3 of my home, including my basement. I eventually hired him to do the interior painting. His attention to detail is amazing, as is his communication, but what Jim does to ensure customer satisfaction is unmatched. While working in my partially finished basement, he discovered some moisture issues. Obviously, that needed to be addressed before he did the painting and drywall work. Jim was my right-hand man through the entire project. He actually helped me schedule appointments with waterproofing contractors, and met them at my house while he was painting. He was amazing, knowing how frustrating this new development was, and assured me he would help me get to the bottom of it all, and find the right contractor to do the work. He did! And once the waterproofing work was done, Jim jumped right back in and completed all of the finishing work. He is an incredible find. I recommend him to everyone, whether they need a handyman/painter/deck repair service or not! If you are still looking for someone to do this type of work, and you are still reading reviews, stop here. This is your guy. Period.

I needed it done fast and he came through. He always does a good job. The interaction was fine. I am also considering my house power washed by him again.

Jim McDaniel was pleasant, responsive and professional throughout the estimating process and the job. He was thorough in his work and explaining it to me. I have used many painters in the past and Jim's work is very high quality. He paid attention to all the details. My living room looks beautiful and I already have Jim lined up for another project.

Great! Jim came out immediately to meet with me, look at the rusted joist hangers and discuss the overall condition of my deck. He agreed that the hangers needed to be replaced, and made no efforts to tell me that my deck was in need of considerable work (I really don't appreciate that some people try to see me way more than I need, or take every opportunity to tell me everything that is wrong with my property). Jim did the work while I was out of town, sent me an invoice, and everything was done with no problems. He gave me an estimate for interior painting, which he is completing currently. Another review will be forthcoming!

Jim came the first time and power washed some dead ivy off of the side of the house, power washed our chimney removing unsightly soot stains, and power washed the deck and returned to stain the deck. When he came to stain the deck, as fortune had it, that night it rained cats and dogs and caused some areas of stain to bubble. Jim was kind enough to keep in touch with us throughout the winter to let us know he would be out the following spring to do ?touch up? work. He was a man of his word and came back that following season to power wash the deck so we could enjoy it as the weather improved. As soon there was a break in the weather, he came back and re-stained the whole deck and it has never looked better. He's a great and conscientious worker and we definitely plan to hire him again.

We called him on Friday and he said he could come out the next day. We were thrilled. He did a great job and the house looks bright and clean. We feel like we got a good price for a job well done. We would definitely use him again.

Jim was great. He was very professional and helpful. He took a lot of time to answer my questions and go over my list of things I needed done. He was very prompt and friendly. He and his coworker worked very hard and efficiently. My house is old and delicate and they were very careful. They did an excellent job. I was very happy with the results. I look forward to having him come out in the spring for some additional work on the outside of my house.

Jim was fabulous! He was very friendly, prompt, and nice while he was in our home. He was very careful around our other furniture in our house. He cleaned up very well afterwards, you would have known he was here! He adjusted his work schedule to match ours, which was much appreciated.

He did a great job: kept in communication about when he could come out, removed the tank from the house and took it off the premises at no extra charge, and charged a very fair price.

Jim and Ryan arrived at our home exactly when they said they would be here. Jim let me know up front that the house may not come as clean as it would if it would be pressure washed in the spring or summer. We wanted it done before the holidays so asked him to do it anyway. We were impressed that he would tell us that as other contractors I'm sure would not! The entire process took the entire day. The outcome was wonderful. Looks like we had our stucco re-done! We have other work we are contemplating getting done in the spring and summer and would definitely have Jim come back!

He was great and that was why I used him again. He was very professional and he returned my calls very promptly. The price was fair. I don’t have anything negative to say about him.

Jim returned my call the same day. We scheduled a time for him to come to my house, which was within a few days. He was scheduled to arrive around 8:30. He called that morning to let me know that he had to stop at a hardware store and would be a little later than he had planned. I appreciated the call and he arrived when he said he would. They checked out the doors and while his assistant worked on them, Jim fixed the kitchen cabinets and looked at the screen door. I was very pleased with the work they did.

I met Jim first to show him the job and get a quote. He was very nice and offered suggestions to help me save money. Knowing that he was looking for ways to keep costs down made me trust him immediately and decide to give him the job. The team arrived on time to start the work. They were professional and courteous. The job was done very quickly and I felt they really cared about the work they did. That meant a lot to me. The wall and carpet look great and they even went above and beyond to paint an additional section of the floor boards and remove some old floor boards I had in my garage. I was really grateful because I had been putting those two items off for so long and they did the additional painting to surprise me. I am really happy with the service and price. I even asked for quotes on two additional jobs in my home before they left. Hire this guy.

Did not go with McDaniel due to unexpected financial issue. But would have chosen McDaniel based on their communication, price, and interaction.

The gutters were taken care of very promptly. It took a while for them to get started on the chimney but once they did the project was very well done.
