You can read my earlier review in which Jim washed and stained my deck. This time, I asked Jim to finish framing a window that a previous owner had not installed properly. Again, Jim's work was absolutely fantastic, and the results greatly exceeded my expectations. I was out of town when the work was completed, but Jim kept me apprised of his progress via email. If you choose to work with Jim--and you should!--you are working with a local guy who is honest, professional, enthusiastic, and committed to doing work as if it were his own house. Highly recommended.

Jim McDaniel called shortly after receiving my message and made an appointment to perform work the next day, early evening. He arrived promptly as scheduled and worked diligently for a bit over an hour. From conversations about other work that needed to be done, it was obvious that he is very familiar with the workings of a house, unlike so many other trades people whom I have contacted for various jobs. As other reviewers have said, he wants the job done right. He was neither condescending nor evasive in answering my questions; he just gave straight answers that were to the point. He is also willing to explore other avenues that offer solutions that meet the customer?s needs. Finally, I truly appreciated the respect with which he treated my humble house. He carefully placed towels where needed and removed and replaced furniture that risked being marred. And it was most refreshing not to have to put up with disparaging comments about my tiny house. I certainly recommend Jim for jobs that need doing and endorse the other fine reviews he has received.

Jim was very proactive in scoping our project and provided us with an accurate estimate and a time line that met our schedule and budget. He showed up on time, worked diligently and professionally and cleaned up after each power washing session. We have an old stone home and were concerned about damage from power washing. Jim has gifted hands. His years of experience were evident through his care and sensitivity for our specific needs. It is a pleasure to work with a professional who truly loves his craft. Jim is a rare breed. A true professional, extremely considerate, fair, and honest. He is a jack of many trades and if he can't do the work, he won't waste your money.
