Crusty older guy, but very honest. He ordered a bunch of parts for a dryer I inherited with the house I bought. When he showed up with the parts, it was pretty clear, upon disassembling the dryer, that the thing was beyond repair. At that point, he looked over at the other abandoned dryer the previous homeowner had left, and asked me "How about that one?" I told him it was even older than the one that was not repairable, so I had not seriously considered using it. He told me it was, in fact, a better dryer. He repaired it with parts off his truck, and I paid what I would have paid to fix the first dryer. He did not try to stick me with the new parts I ordered, but told me he could just sell these new parts to someone else who had the same dyer. That was several months ago, the dryer he repaired is humming along just fine. Their operation is not super-efficent, but he is reasonable in the price he asks and honest about what works and what won't. I will use him again for sure.

He repairs everything but TV's. He replaced a clutch in our washing machine. He's very professional, polite, up front, on time and most of all reasonable.
