Grindle Insulation

Tim Grindle and crew were great. Showed up on time. Went above and beyond to do the job correctly. As an example they cut access holes in the attic to get to areas the original builder hadn't sealed or insulated well if at all. They air sealed every rafter bay in the entire attic and then added cellulose insulation that has made a huge improvement in our comfort and heating bills. They were the only insulation contractor that I could find in the area that used a blower door test to insure they did what they promised. They cleaned up everything and did everything in one (very long) day. They added some extra work that I requested over their estimate and were very fair in their pricing.

Vendor came out and gave a quote to insulate the house, they were prompt and respectful. The price quoted was out of budget, however, if i get some money together i might have them do the work.

They were very neat and did an excellent job. We had our house inspected, by an independent contractor through the electric company whereby we receive a rebate on your electricity if you do home improvements. So the inspector who came in to check if everything is done to code, he was just raving about the work, he asked for his name because some people do ask for it and he could recommend them. They were very nice, they worked and they were not hanging out. They came in and worked hard, answered all our questions, they were courteous and they did an excellent job. We have additions and they took off all the old fiber glass insulation out and put in vapor barrier lining and filled it cellulose insulation. This is to prevent animals since animals don't like to borrow it and don't like to make their homes in it. So they did a lot of work and they cleaned up after themselves. They actually were here15 minutes before they said they were going to be here. They did not come to the door but they got here and they all kind of got set up. So they started at the time that they were going to. They were very professional. We even recommended them to other people.

Several family/friends have used Grindle insulation and were very pleased so I called them to provide an estimate. After getting the initial visit scheduled, they showed up on time, friendly, responsive to my questions, knowledgable about their insulation products and respectful to my home. The estimate soon followed and was very reasonably priced for the work being quoted. I moved forward with the work and Grindle insulation team did a great job, completing the work in the time quoted, and actually doing several items over/above the estimate to make the job right. In addition, they were also very clean, covering the carpets, closet openings, etc with protective coverings. Overall I was quite pleased with the results and the manner in which the work was completed and would recommend Grindle to anyone!

He did an excellent job both times. I would highly recommend him.
