CARMEN POLITO CARPETS

Description of Work: We had a water line break in Nov. 2014. Had Mr. Polito come give us a estimate on carpet. While here, he said he could do kitchen floor. The decking was warped and had to be changed, He was to remove old sheeting down to the joists and replace with 9 - 4'x8' sheets of 23/32nd's OSB. Also install vinyl plank flooring. We noticed the flooring seemed mushy but was told it was air trapped under the vinyl and it would work out. The following Spring the flooring was sagging between the joists up to 1/2 inch and the vinyl seams seperating. We kept calling him but he always had excuses. Finally in July he came to look. He said he would fix it and told us he could do it when my wife was visiting her Sister. He left and refused to answer calls. A few weeks later we consulted a Attorney who sent him a letter that he never responded to. The Attorney suggested we get estimates. He gave us a ball park figure on what it cost to take it to court. It was half to just pay to fix it. When the new contractor took up the vinyl we found he did not replace the decking. He used some kind of concrete between the joists on the old decking. It eventually cracked. We had a written contract with him and he was paid $3,300. Much of the vinyl was damaged so we had to get $527 in new vinyl and pay the new contractor $2,000 to replace the decking that Polito was supposed to.

Description of Work: cermic tiled our whole bathroom .. did not finish the job grout coming out between the tiles we asked him to come and seal the bathroom and tells us he will b down but never did been over a yr trying to ask him to do this he then lied to the person that recommend him and carmen to the guy there was dog pee and poop all over the bathroom which is a lie and that he came to our house to do it and nooone answered the door he never showed he told us the day and time and never showed so if u want a job done right dont call carmen poliato
