+ -1 moreEverything went great 3 workers the owner and 2 others never left any mess end of each day even did extra for me dug up weeds in yard -Attached pictures.
Description of Work: Removed cement back porch and steps -Hauled away debris -built wood deck with steps- added cement walkway -put in all new drain pipes-painted back of house

+ -1 moreWe hired Jim to tear off our old roof and replace it with new shingles, a job that should have taken 2 to 3 days to complete being our roof is a little over 15 square which is not a very big roof. As of today it still isn't complete from two weeks ago. Jim didn't listen to anything I wanted done and did it his own way. I am very unhappy with him and the work that has been completed. I really don't know how he has stayed in business for 25 years. I would NOT i repeat NOT recommend James Novak Contracting for anything that needs done on your home. Pay the extra money and get work you will be happy with.

+ 0 moreEverything was very organized and always on time. Did not leave mess at the end of each day. The house was in really bad shape. Had to haul away not only job debris but stuff that was already in house that needed hauled. I had to stay in the house while they were working and everyone was very considerate of me being there. It was a huge project. I don't drive so they took me to pick out everything. Price was reasonable for me. Time it took to complete was also reasonable. Well worth it. I love my new home. A picture is worth thousand words. See photos below.
Description of Work: Living room, kitchen, 2 bed rooms, and hallway stairs which all needed gutted. All new dry walls, and installation, drop down ceiling in bedrooms, new windows in every room, new doors locks, and storm doors, removed attic steps, closed off two chimneys and insulate,fixed closets. Ceiling fans in each room. Put bamboo flooring in living room and kitchen and laminate in bed rooms. New kitchen counter tops and cabinets. Wood awning in back and wood awning in front of house, painted all rooms, painted front of house, new fence in back yard, all new electrical wiring, new sink fixtures , plugs, cemented front basement window. From a previous job few years before had walk in shower put in, new roof, and water heater replaced.

+ 1 moreThey were very professional. They were hard workers. They did all this work in two days. They finished one day and the next day they did the finishing touches and the clean.
Description of Work: He replaced the siding that had fallen of the house and replaced insulation as well. He also replaced some porch lights. He fixed some roof issues as well. He also picked up all the garbage left in the yard.
