Ernst arrived on time. He placed tarps around my fireplace to protect my carpet and flooring. I told him the fireplace would not start so he assessed the situation and explained what needed to be done. He made the necessary repairs, removed the fake logs and all of the lava rock and cleaned the entire fireplace plus the three glass panels. He cleaned up after himself and showed me how to startup the fireplace. I was very satisfied with the work that was done and would highly recommend Ernst for your fireplace repairs and maintenance.

One company said I needed a whole new fireplace without looking at it. And it was more of a minor fix but you would have to come and look at it to diagnose it, which was done by Ernest.

Hired for wood-burning stove cleaning and inspection. Ernest was the absolute best. He took before and after pictures, kept everything completely tidy while cleaning, and really put in the labor and education needed on how to properly use and maintain. Would recommend to anyone. And while be consulting for future projects as well.

Ernest is a kind, thoughtful and thorough professional. He is very meticulous with his work. Our chimney looks wonderful. When he came in to take care of the fireplace he covered all surfaces and double covered the floor. He wore protective gear which her took off before cleaning up, so he did not get anything on any of our carpet or furnishings. When he was finished everything was once again neat an tidy. The fireplace looked great and I am no longer afraid to use it. The before and after pictures were amazing and show what a good job he does. You may find someone to do the job for less money but I don't know that youbwill get the same quality of work or the same care and attention to detail. This process took hours and it show with the end result. After speaking with several other vendors on the phone, I knew Ernest was the man for the job within a few moments of our conversation. If you choose Ernest, you will be very pleased with both his work ethic and the end result.

I had a chimney that had never been cleaned so it was pretty bad. Ernest was very organized and did his best to keep everything clean. He took pictures of before and after and explained everything to me. He installed a chimney cap for me and clearly gave me pricing before the job. I would recommend him to everyone. He knows his trade and answered all my questions patiently.

I hired this company to clean and inspect my fireplace, since it hadnt been cleaned since who knows when and it was Christmas time! Earnest was so professional, and thoroughly knew his trade well. He cleaned everything in the firebox and cleaned up so well, you wouldnt know a sweep was there. His prices were the lowest I have found, so I guess I will be going back with Ernest from now on!!! One other thing that I feel important. Ernest is one of the most gentle-hearted and kind person you would ever want to meet, yet he stays on track of his work. Just cant go wrong hiring him for all your chimney needs!!

Ernest is very thorough, be it explaining & showing before & after or the actual work. We've had multiple contractors in & out but Ernest, by far, has been the best. He is kind & patient & his work speaks for itself, whether it's just a chimney cleaning, replacing/fixing loose bricks & caps or even repairing a deteriorating chimney crown, Ernest is the man you want to do the work.

Great communication and early availability. Did a very thorough inspection and cleaning of the fireplace, chimney, and ash box. He found some issues during the cleaning and was very helpful in explaining them and providing next steps. I would highly recommend hiring him.

Ernest replaced and repaired a crumbling walkway and steps in front of our home. He took his time to do everything with care. He took the time to explain everything in advance as well as progress during the job. Everything was left clean. We trust his expertise and look forward to another project in the near future.

Ernest did a super job of chimney cleaning, spending twice the time cleaning as other companies were willing to do for the same price. Ernest also came up with a cost effective way to remedy a broken damper by installing a combination damper/chimney cap. He is a true expert in his craft providing high quality work. Ernest is a good communicator and kept me well informed as to what he was doing and why it needed to be done. He phographed problem areas so that I could see problems in the chimney and on the roof which I would otherwise not have been able to see. Ernest fixed and cleaned our fireplace. There was a great amount of soot and dirt from years of use. He spent hours cleaning it all up. Itâ  s so much safer. He is an extremely hard worker and knows his trade well! He is reliable and very kind. Itâ  s difficult to find people in this business.

There simply arenâ t enough words to express how Outstanding Ernest is. I have never had the experience of hiring a professional who was so totally committed to doing an Awesome job, and someone who takes such pride in his work. We just bought a house and hired Ernest to clean and inspect our gas fireplace. He was so detail oriented and meticulous about everything he did. It was no easy task, as we donâ t think the fireplace has ever been cleaned. He took the time to cover the area and protect our floors and anything that may get dirty. When he finished, he took all the debris with him, and cleaned everything so well, that you would never know that he was even there. Our fireplace looks brand new! He also had to do some work on our chimney. He had to rebuild part of the chimney, and build a new crown. and attach a new cap. It truly looks like a new chimney. He did such a fantastic job. He cleaned as he went and also took care of our other chimney while he was at it. He made sure he protected our new roof. All the while, Ernest was polite, professional and pleasant. He really took the time to explain everything as he went and even took the time to give advice about other issues we have in the house. He also took pictures and video so we could see for ourselves the before and after. He worked non-stop from the time he arrived, until the job was finished. He was totally upfront about costs and what to expect. In other words, I 100% recommend Ernest. I will definitely be hiring him again.

Ernest is exceptional: knowledgeable, prompt, professional, detail oriented and easy to work with. He thoroughly inspected our two fireplaces and chimneys, and explained what he did and what he saw (including a snake that apparently took residence in a chimney.) We were so pleased when he offered tree removal service, too. He was able to remove a holly tree that was causing some issues with the roofline and the chimney, and he did a fantastic job removing all of the tree waste. You would never have known there was a tree there or that someone had worked in that areaâ super clean. I found it easy to work with Ernest and will both rehire him for other jobs and recommend him to other people. He really is absolutely the best, hands down!
