We have renovated 12 properties significantly. J&J Construction is honestly the best contractor we have ever worked with. Joe is customer-focused, has great solutions and gets it done with high quality. We would work with him any time and anywhere in the future.

Arrived at the property to provide a bathroom estimate and cabinets. Refused to give a quote on just the floor removal. He said he needed to bill me for the complete job and would not just remove it. He then changed his story on billing and his estimate went from 4K to 8K by the end of the conversation. He gave verbal estimate and requesting something writing, he refused to supply it. He tried to oversell what was needed and doubled the price by the end of it.

Very professional; thorough, responsive

Jason shows up on time and ready to work. He takes the time to explain everything he is doing. He leaves the job site cleaner then when he got there.

We had active water damage on a small wall in our kitchen. There were stains, cracks and the paint had started to peel away. I called John in the morning and he was able to come by in the afternoon. There was no way he could give us an estimate without seeing what was causing the damage first. He said they would need 1/2 day to find the problem, fix and replace the drywall. I was skeptical it could happen so fast but John was relaxed and confident. We confirmed that evening he could be at our house just before 9am the next morning and they would be done by noon. He showed up at 8:45 the next morning. They broke into the wall and found the iron stack pipe had a long crack in it. By 11:45 they had taken out the old pipe, replaced it and put up water resistant dry-wall. The work looked seamless. He said they would be back in a couple of days to finish up the wall - it needed to dry. A few days later they returned and in 20 minutes everything was done. They were punctual, direct and efficient. We were very impressed with how quickly and cleanly they worked and have already recommended them to friends. We will definitely use John and his team again.

Before joining Angie's list, no contractor I called would call me back. I joined and saw John was highly recommended. He came over within one day, and gave me an honest appraisal...he recommended things I should and shouldn't do and ways to save money. After describing how I wanted the shower to look, he said its very similar to his house and he actually took me to see it! We scheduled an appointment and went to a home store and picked out supplies for the bathroom, since I didn't have any experience with this (I'm a first time home buyer.). John began and finished on time, and everything cost just what he said it would. Everything came out terrific! I am very happy with John and would highly recommend him!

Everything has been great. They are very responsive and professional. Their prices are reasonable, and the quality of their work is high. I have been very happy with them and will certainly use them again.
