All went very well, there were 4 men who knew exactly what they had to do. They were done with entire project in 5 hours which included all clean up and going for stone. This project was in the front of the house. All of the men ( one of them being Mr. Allar) were friendly, hard working and ready to answer all questions. Mr. Allar also provided a hand drawn sketch with plant recommendations and I was able to change any or all plants to my liking. I had many questions about the plants and Mr. Allar was very courteous in answering my questions. Mr. Allar came back in August to stake a tree and answer my pruning questions.

I had several large spots that needed to be reseeded for grass and I wanted to move an overgrown bush, remove another bush, thin out overgrown plants, clean-out front, back, and side beds, and mulch all plant beds. Ryan responded quickly to my call for an estimate and provided a written list of tasks with overall estimate of cost within a couple of days. I was pleased that he took notes during the walk around for what needed to be done and everything showed up on the estimate. I decided to got with Allar because the estimated cost seemed reasonable and they were on-the-spot in responding. Although it took about 1 month to get scheduled for the work to begin in early May, Allar was upfront about when the job would start and they began as scheduled. I needed to add some tasks that hadn't been estimated and we also decided that a big bush could not be moved as planned until the fall. I also wanted to add planting a few small bushes in the back and sides. There was no problem in adding the tasks and Ryan made good recommendations on the types of bushes to plant. There were enough workers to do the job in about 6 hours total. I was very pleased that Ryan remembered all the items we had discussed, where things needed to get done, and just proceeded to do them without being reminded. The work was done well and I was happy that the mulch was thickly laid and professional looking, trimmed out plant beds were created. Ryan gave good instructions for watering the grass seed. He and his crew returned the following week with the additional bushes and planted them without my having to take off from work to be home. Ryan called to let me know when the job was done. Because there had been changes to the job with bushes not moved, bushes added, additional spots for grass seeds, etc., the cost needed to be adjusted and I was sent an invoice after everything was completed with the adjusted balance owed. The amount was reasonable but I asked Ryan for another invoice, which would show an itemization of how much things had cost just so I could confirm what I thought was a reasonable amount overall. He sent me an itemized invoice and explained his system wasn't set-up to typically provide this type of thing. I gave a and quot;goodand quot; ranking in professionalism simply because I find that being able, as a consumer, to know the details of a project's costs is important. I would like to see improved invoicing for Allar. I did find them very professional in all other respects and I plan on using them again.

Mr Allar responded promptly to my initial call. He arrived on time for our appointment. He looked over and measured the areas I wanted estimates for. He sent me a very professional estimate through the mail as promised. The estimate was broken down by the different projects we had discussed. There were lists of costs and time lines. Color diagrams were also included. Very professional.

His business has grown from a small one to a much bigger one. We just love him. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is super. He does all sorts of landscaping. He mows the lawn. It’s a family run business so even his wife works with him. A couple of week ago after we had a bad wind storm I thought of going outside and picking up all the sticks and branches that had fallen down. His wife was out there picking it all up before she mowed. She removed them and took them away with her and there was no extra charge for it. They go above and beyond and they do a real superb job. We have been in this house for the last 25 years and they are doing are lawn for the last 15 years. A lot of people in the neighborhood have signed on with him because he always does a super job. They send out mails too. You can get as little or as much work done by them. At this point he knows everything I want done. They will come back and rake the leaves or remove snow if you want to. We have a very large property.
