I was impressed with their workmanship, professionalism and ability to stay on budget and schedule. I moved out of state and when I returned to Pittsburgh ten years later, AM Window & Construction was the ONLY contractor I contacted to do some work at my new residence. â Some workâ has turned into a 19 year collaboration which has included adding air conditioning; replacing my double furnaces; all new windows; renovating a master bathroom; enclosing a screened-in porch; a new deck; renovating the laundry room and installing a new roof. To say that AM Window & Construction is my â go-toâ contractor is quite evident for multiple reasons. Alan Mikol is honest, professional and maintains constant communication concerning the job so I am never left in the dark about anything that is happening at my house-and he returns phone calls! "It was a pleasure to work with Alliance Construction. John was very professional, courteous and dependable. He made sure everything was done correctly. We had wanted a pocket door to replace the folding door to the bathroom. John was willing to put one in, but explained some of the problems that may occur later. He suggested a barn door. We went with his suggestion and are so glad we did. It is wonderful and adds so much to the look of the room. We also asked if he could hide the electric panel and water meter. He built a cabinet, even though it took him out of his comfort zone, to hide them and we are so pleased with the results. He did lay vinyl flooring through out our house as well. We had squeaky floors and asked John if there was a way to get rid of the squeaks. He went the extra mile and made sure everything was tight and secure before laying the floors. They turned out amazing. We were so thankful to have a contractor we could trust. We would definitely use him again and would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends."
