Bryan has inspected two homes for me so far. He has been very professional, providing a thorough report and verbal explanations. I would go to him again for home inspections in the future as well as recommend him to others.

This was my second time using Home Check and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Bryan was able to answer all of my questions in a clear concise manner during the home inspection. The report you receive is far more detailed than any home inspection report I have received from other companies and includes pictures and text detailing the different areas of the home inspection making it a great reference to refer back to in the days after you have already left the property. He was also available to answer any questions after I received the report. Couldn?t be happier.

Brian was very thorough on the past two home inspections I have used him. He caught numerous things that were not identified by other home inspectors when I sold the house. I have and will continue to refer everyone to use Home Check. The value he provides is well worth the cost of the home inspection to identify potential costly issues or repairs.

I looked at several companies on Angie's List to find one to inspect a home I am thinking about purchasing. I specifically wanted one that was an ASHI certified inspector and cross-referenced the ASHI website to find one that had also been evaluated on Angie's list. I contacted Home Check on 3/17 by email and phone. They quickly returned my call and were able to schedule my inspection for the following week on 3/26. I arranged for my Dad to meet Bryan at the house (since I was working) and Bryan called me the morning of the inspection to let me know he would be running a bit late - unfortunately, I didn't get the message right away and wasn't able to call my Dad (or the Realtor) in time to let them know - so they both ended up having to wait for about 45 minutes at the house. Despite being a little bit behind schedule, I felt that Bryan did a very thorough job and spent more than enough time investigating every area of the house. He was there for over four hours! I met him at the house when I got off of work, and he patiently walked me through what he had found so far and answered my questions as he finished inspecting the rest of the house. I felt very comfortable knowing that he was working on my behalf and advocating for me as the buyer - he pointed out a lot of minor details that I feel many other inspectors would have just glossed over. Bryan was willing to work overtime to get me the inspection report within the next two days - but, since I wasn't in a huge hurry, I told him that getting it that weekend would be fine and he emailed me the inspection report and pest inspection on our agreed upon date of 3/29. The report was easy to read, included lots of pictures, and went over everything that we talked about in person plus many more items that he noted on his own. It was a total of 46 pages long. My real estate agent felt that the report was "overkill", but I was able to use the report in further negotiations with the seller - asking them to repair some items that Bryan found (such as cleaning up rodent feces under the attic insulation) - which meant more work/hassle for my real estate agent who was probably hoping for an easy sale/commission. In the end, I was very pleased with the services that Bryan provided and would definitely recommend Home Check to my family and friends!

Bryan was incredibly meticulous. He arrived on time at 10am and stayed till 6 pm. He then came back a few days later to complete the inspection on the roof and outside of the home for an additional three hours. He took the time to explain everything to me, and to point out everything that he put in the report. Not only that, but he took the time to discuss issues with other contractors I had at the house, and worked very well with them to give me a full picture of all potential issues. He was friendly, neat and extremely ethical. He spent an enormous amount of time on the inspection, and seemed very knowledgeable about all aspects of an older home. I would never use anyone else for a home inspection, I couldn't have been happier with Bryan's work.

The provider responded promptly, was on time and did a complete inspection. The gas was not turned on at the time of the inspection. He returned after gas was restored. We were not charged extra for the second visit which was done on a Sunday. Mr.Cole was very professional and we would highly recommend Home Check.

Best, most thorough, and most detailed inspection I've ever had on a home purchase (and I've purchased a few over the years). I can recommend Bryan without qualification.

- Our inspector was extremely professional, very knowledgeable, eager to help us understand his analysis, and honest. He was maybe 10 minutes late relative to our scheduled time, but he did call the day before to let us know that he would need to move the time back. Once he arrived, everything went very smoothly - he was extraordinarily thorough, he involved us in the process, and he was responsive to our questions and needs. After the inspection, we received his full report in a timely manner and he again checked to make sure that we were comfortable with the information. We were very satisfied indeed with his service and would not hesitate to use him again.

Its probably just easier for me to say, "Read the other reviews." Bryan is fantastic. He is thorough, takes his time and takes time to explain things and their relative importance. Bryan's written reports are thorough and detailed. Having used Bryan for over 15 years and in five inspections I can honestly say that I would trust him on any inspection residential or commercial no matter the level of complexity. I have refered Bryan to 4 co-workers and all have been as impressed as I am with his work. A+++++++

Bryan was INCREDIBLE! Every homeowner, new or old, moving or not, should have Bryan inspect their home. His inspection was certainly helpful in preparing our response where we asked for a few corrections, but it was also helpful in giving us a thorough understanding of our new home and an idea of the things we will have to tackle as homeowners! He takes the time to do his inspection with an unheard of thoroughness and it really paid off. For instance, he routinely runs all water for 20 minutes (not the usual 5-10 of most inspectors) and low and behold, it started raining in the dining room! And he was all over the roof and identified some issues with the chimney, which would not have been discovered from the ground. Our real estate agent was upset that he was "going overboard" and made an off-handed remark about inspectors, saying "and he's the worst." In our opinion, that means he is the best. Bryan was not being a "dealkiller." He was giving US (his customers - not our real estate agent) exactly what we needed to feel confident that we knew what we were getting. He also explained things in plain English in a way that was very educational for me (a novice) but with enough technical detail for my more knowledgeable husband. We could not be more pleased with our experience.

Bryan was recommended to me by a coworker who had recently also made her first home purchase. She told me he was very nice and explained everything to her. I also took a look at her report and saw that he was very thorough with his findings. The bank that owned the foreclosure put us in a very compromising position by giving us only 5 days to get an inspection and 2 additional days to back out due to findings in the inspection or we would be penalized. (If I could write a review on that bank, I would, and it wouldn't be pretty) Bryan was very understanding about our situation when we made an appointment and was prompt with his service and again with his report. During his inspection, he pointed out everything as he went along and explained and taught everything to my dad as he went as well. In his report, he pointed out the good, the bad, and the ugly and stated everything factually and professionally. He even provided pictures. After his findings, we asked for some contractors to take care of things that needed attention. Although he could not recommend contractors, he did give us some options of people that his former customers had luck with. We did as well. I would be more than willing to refer friends to Bryan in the future and would use him again myself should the need ever arise. Since we are first time buyers, I can't speak to his prices but my realtor informs me that this was extremely reasonable for all of his services and even says he will keep Bryan's name on hand should anyone ever want a recommendation.
