Jose Cheverez exceeded our expectations this summer when we hired him to make deck and structure repairs at our home. He and his crew at JWC Contracting definitely lived up to all their terrific reviews, which made us comfortable in hiring him as new Poconos residents who had no referrals. Jose and his team repaired portions of our deck, railings and supporting structure, plus repaired sections of siding on our cabin and replaced a lot of deteriorated cedar shingles. They also installed new lighting fixtures inside and had no problem adding on extra small odd jobs. Jose's prices were fair, his work was terrific, and he and his crew were always professional and delightful to work with. We can't recommend Jose and JWC highly enough!

Best contractor in the Poconos. Jose made suggestions but let us decide exactly what we wanted in our new kitchen. There were no last minute surprises or extra costs. The remodel was done cleanly and professionally. His prices are quite reasonable, he and his crew are reliable and perfectionists. Best of all, they always show up.

Jose and his team took my rundown beat up front porch and made it look new again! Both he and his team were exceptionally polite and professional. Going forward Jose is my contractor of choice.

Jose the main contractor was very nice soft spoken professional, he came in early executed the job, he brought down the original quoted price when he realized the plumbing issue was less complicated then yo top it off he he helped cleared up my garage making room for my car for winter to come. As a former teacher I do not hand out praise willy-nilly, however, if I could give Jose and crew ten stars, I would. Jose is prompt, personable, conscientious and does fine, fine work. They listen, they advise, they go the extra mile to accommodate the customer. Hire them, you WILL be pleased.

The owner of this contracting business was very personable, fully understood my needs and did a very nice job on the various things I needed done to my residence. He was really easy to work with and got things done in a timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for anything and do intend on hiring him in the near future. It was a pleasure having him take care of the repairs I needed taken care of and he completed all tasks efficiently with pleasant results. He and his workers were very nice and very professional and cleaned up after their jobs were completed and also did extra little things on the job at no extra cost to me. Had some minor issues with the deck, which were corrected quickly. Remaining project with foundation was good. Excellent customer service. Jose Cheverez, owner of JWC, always responded to phone calls almost immediately. After completion of the deck project, had two emergency situations and he took care of them quickly, reasonably and we were very satisfied with the results. JWC is dependable and we highly recommend them. 4/1/19 I want to update my review as Jose has done many more projects since I wrote the previous review. He and his workers did an excellent job on various projects in our second home at BBL in Gouldsboro, PA. In addition to installing new water heaters, he also completed other projects including installing heated flooring in a 900+ sq ft area, and new plumbing/cabinetry in kitchen and several bathrooms. Also, installed backslash in kitchen. Jose is reliable and always responds timely to any emergency situation. My husband and I are extremely satisfied with his excellent work and dependability. I needed to replace my existing deck and expand it. JWC contracting came in with the lowest cost of three companies I contacted. They promised a top notch job and they sure delivered. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our new deck. JWC will be our go-to contractors for any future projects.

We contacted JWC Contracting to discuss removing our decrepit pre-fab cement stairs. We wanted them replaced with a small wooden deck (approx. 6 x 8) and stairs. Unlike other contractors I���ve contacted in the past, my initial call was returned almost immediately. They arrived on site promptly and listened carefully to our vision for the work to be done while making some thoughtful suggestions of their own. The subsequent estimate was not only delivered quickly but was reasonably priced and included everything we���d discussed. In addition to the work outlined, they promised to get the necessary permitting so we signed the agreement. It took a few days to get the permitting in order but Jose checked in with us regularly so we knew exactly how things were progressing. As each permit was acquired, it was dropped off to us. Once the final permit was in hand we were told work would begin within a few days and, sure enough, the crew arrived as promised. The crew was great ��� clearly competent and on their game as well as being very nice. They were efficient, neat and as unobtrusive as you can possibly be under such circumstances. Jose walked the site mutiple times daily to make sure there were no issues ��� even personally overseeing the delivery of materials. The work itself took slightly over one full day, which was much faster than I���d anticipated. Start to finish, we had our new deck and stairs less than 2 weeks from the initial contact!! I was impressed with these folks all the way around. Their follow-up throughout the process was superb, they kept every promise they made and their timeline was accurate ��� or better! The icing on the cake is that both Jose and Chet have followed up with us to make sure we are still happy with the work done. Bottom line: we can recommend JWC Contracting HIGHLY. We were so delighted with the end results that we immediately began discussing the next project we want them to do for us. We look forward to continuing our relationship with these smart, talented professionals.
