They sent someone who was nice but had no knowledge of dealing with wildlife. He couldn't tell us what animal we were dealing with, how to treat it or cost. I was the one who discovered we had bats. The person they sent looked at the hornets and walked around our property looking for ants. We live in the woods so of course bugs are around but no ants are in our home or even our wood pile. He was pushing us to buy a package for ants/hornets. We declined because our main concern was the bats. He told me that the owner John would have to come out and look at that. Trying to schedule an appointment with John has been impossible. I called and left messages (no one ever answers) and left messages via their FB page. It takes days to receive a response. I made it very clear that we're not at our house full-time & tried to schedule him the day after Labor Day. We didn't hear back from Cathy for weeks when I finally received a call out of the blue. She wanted to schedule an appt the very next day. I told her we're not at the house. She said, "No problem. John will access the situation since the bats are only outside." She went on to say that he'll write up protocol and pricing and leave everything in our door. My husband went up to the house 2 days after John was suppose to go. Nothing was left in our door. I called, sent a message asked if they ever showed up. Almost 1 week later I get a FB message for an appt on 9/19. Maybe John and his team do great work but trying to get an appointment or even a response has become a part time job. I understand a company being busy but what does it take to answer calls and emails in a timely manner and set up an appointment, even if it has to be weeks in advance and actually show up when you say you're going to? I reached out to another company who deals with wildlife today. I left a message and receive a call with 1 hour. I already have an appointment set up with them. Amazing!

I received a quick response and within a week the only ants I found were dead.

Lack of communication and not following through with what was told on the phone was frustrating.

They are great. They will be coming around again soon. They come 3 times a year unless I have problems and then they come in to fix the problems. They are very efficient, they go the extra step to look for and correct issues. I feel safe to say that because I have used others up there that didn't so I've got comparisons. You reach them, you set something up and they do it. They are very reliable. It's for a year, somewhere around $400 to $425 a year. I'd like them lower but I think they are fair. I just signed up with them again.

It was very good. They sprayed on stuff using non toxic things for the baby and the dog. I liked working with them. They were great. I do remember the cost being very reasonable. I had a good experience with them. Price was great. I was very happy. They were out here right away and they were really quick. They were very professional.

Great, he found the tiny space where the snake got in, closed it up, Found several hornets nests and removed them and plugged up the holes in the siding where they were. Also left me a spray bottle of eco friendly liquid to get rid of any that might get in the house. He was so thorough and very informative, very nice man.

... they were quick to show up, diagnose and resolve. We then signed up for a seasonal exterminate with them. They always return calls and give you updates. Only complaint is the odds of reaching them when you call are slim to none. they do return your calls normally within a day.

Carpenter Ants were in my flight room at our Butterfly Sanctuary. They kill the butterflies at night and cause us a huge problem every year ( our Butterfly Sanctuary is in the woods ). We strive to be as green as possible and hate to resort to pesticides as :1. we hate them and 2. they are dangerous to our butterflies, frogs and visitors.John Smith , Green man's owner came out personally working us into his very busy schedule, explained everything he was doing, was extremely thorough and friendly. And the Ants left ... completely, they are gone and we don't have to worry any more. The Building still smells fabulous after almost a month ( an added bonus ). We will use Green Man again and have only great things to say about this company. We recommend them 100%.

Two separate visits, both by different and very professional and knowledgeable pest controllers to deal with a rodent intruder in my attic over the winter, that was trying to scratch its way through the ceiling into my living space.

Their customer service contact to set appointment was thorough and courteous. John Smith's protege Jon performed the work. He was prompt, thorough, courteous and willing to answer my questions along the way during his inspection and treatment of our home. He baited for insects and pests, identified & sealed exposed access points, offered solid education points about care, maintenance and protection of our home. I am happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a smart, thorough team to address pests without detrimental pesticides.

There was a ground hog that made tunnels under my septic mound. John took care of it, came back a few days later to ensure it was gone and did not charge us until he was sure the job was done. Very professional. Very prompt. Very fair price for the job that was done.

John was very kind while doing the work. He showed up early, was efficient, and explained everything nicely. He even left some extra spray for me to use in the future. Since he took less time than originally expected, the final price was actually well below the estimate. (That was awesome.) I would use Green Man again. I suggest calling directly to schedule an appointment. I first tried to contact them a while ago through their website and then over email, but neither received a response. However, once I called directly everything ran smoothly.

We just moved into a new house and we were having some work done when the contractor found a carpenter ant nest in the Garage wall. I called John at Green Man and he came out to the hose the same day treated the area while it was exposed. Didn't even want payment that day. We scheduled an appointment for him to come back and do a full treatment for all insects and mice. He came back on the day we had scheduled and rodent proofed the house and found 15 wasp nests in the attic above the garage. he took care of everything. Great service at a great price. and that price includes two more follow up treatments.

Friday afternoon, I had discovered that there was a rodent of some type in my garage. I flipped out and ran to search for an exterminator. First name on Angie's List was Green Man Exterminator. There were 40 wonderful reviews so I called. I had to leave a message but the call was returned minutes later. I explained the potential problem and that I was very worried. Kathy was very easy to talk with, and she understood my phobia concerning rodents. She said she would try to get me an appointment for the following day which she ultimately did. John came on time and was one of the nicest people I'd ever met. He knew his business, took care of the job, stayed on the property for at least two hours, sealed entryways, closed gaps, sprayed, set traps, and used a wonderful spray that is safe enough to drink. All in all, I was immensely impressed. He offered me several option plans for servicing, and I took the $400 a year plan which would give me 3 or 4 visits for the year. Totally worth it. I just moved to PA from Staten Island, New York, and if I can recommend an exterminator, Green Man Exterminator is who I recommend. By the way, we did have a mouse, and last night, we came home and opened the garage and it ran out into the forest. John's traps and spraying method worked. Thanks again, John.

He was able to eliminate the problem, and seal every possible entrance in the attic. He returned several times to ensure the problem had not returned. He was polite, responsive and did a great job!

Green Man is wonderful. It's something that you need. He's always done a fantastic job. He's wonderful to deal with. They've been our provider for three years.

We love them. They did a great job. It is all natural. The cats and dogs are all safe with it. We don't have any problems. He takes care of everything. If there's anything in between, he comes back. He's very nice to deal with and does excellent work. He's very clean and very near. It's a good price for all he does. He is all A's. We would definitely use them in the future.

The company could not have been nicer or more competent. After I called they promptly came to my house and quick accessed damages. Full repairs were made within a few days. Prior to calling them I had engaged a local (national chain) exterminator to trap a racoon that had cut a hole in the roof and then set up housekeeping in the attic. The chain failed to trap the raccoon with ultimately ate through the siding to escape. That exterminator charged higher weekend rates for placing and monitoring one haveaheart trap. The cost for repairs to the house would have been much greater.
