A1 Comfort Heating & Cooling lived up to their name. They provided A1 service. The installation was in a 130+ year old house and required some creativity to install some of the pipes because of the structure of the house. These gentlemen rose to the challenge and did an amazing job.

The installation was in an Unheated attic. Bob did several extra steps to ensure the new furnace would never freeze; this is probably what caused my old furnace to fail. I was quite impressed with the workmanship.

Called A1, spoke with Mary , said she would have Bob call. Bob called within 15 minutes and was at the house within the hour and had the furnace up and running. He had to order a part and was back on Tuesday to install it . Price was very reasonable for a Sunday call

I had an emergency call on a Saturday for a furnace repair on a very cold day. I called and the receptionist said that they would get my request out to Bob and that he would call back. Bob called shortly thereafter and told me when he would get to my place. Sure enough he arrived even earlier than expected, and knew what the problem was right away. It didn’t take long for the repair to be made. The price was right and Bob was very knowledgeable and courteous. I am grateful to have a working furnace again!

Bob came out and fixed us the same day we called. He truly is concerned about his customers and wanted to be sure we were back to a working A/C. I recommend him anytime someone asks for a referral. Started job this job in october and still not done always had a excuse such as due to weather or busy on other jobs outside line not installed proper and said could not fix it due to bad weather conditions So gas co will not hook it up till its fix I had to hire another co that is willing to install proper pipes and get meter installed at my cost to pay to fix his mistakes He was paid all but 550.00 so it had nothing to due with payment I just want heat and Bob did not really care. My ? is how could angie's list rate this co #1 super service award when is not even close They mite want to a little better research on this company

"The furnace and gas line are completed. The central air unit is installed. There are no CO leaks. The gas company and A1 Comfort both inspected the house and there were no CO detection. A1 Comfort purchased a CO detector and placed it in your vacation home. As soon as the temperature gets over 70 degrees, we will start up the a/c unit to make sure it is up and running. We have used A1 several times. Had flue problem on baseboard heating system. They found the problem quickly and repaired. Also fixed a broken water line and winterized a home for the winter. Great work and professional. Very quick to call back after leaving a message with their answering service. And, he WILL call you back. Reasonable pricing. Definitely recommend.

Everything was performed professionally. Crew members did work while I watched. Crew kindly described what was being done and why. Crew cleaned after work completed. Crew was very friendly and professional. Would recommend this contractor if you are looking for a professional to do work. Contractor does not cut corners and is not inexpensive.
