WEST DEER SANITATION

I am new here and am mostly writing and giving A's to counter what I think is a off the wall review of this provider. This is the second time I used West Deer Sanitation, and for the last forty years here I have used most of them. He returned calls, he showed up at scheduled time, he pumped tanks. He DID the service that he advertises. That is why anyone would call him, he has to empty tank so you can flush lines to determine if they a clear or not, to see if backflow from leach field is occurring. He is there to pump and he does his job, no better, no worse than anyone else. I don't know any of the 7 or 8 outfits that have come and gone over the years that come to consult and speculate - they come to pump your tank empty - period

I was having a problem with a sewage backup and suspected that my septic tank was backing up. I contacted the provider and told him what the situation was including that I suspected that the field drain was backing up. He went ahead and pumped out the tank, then told me that he thought that the field drain looked OK to him. He could have told me this before he stuck me with a $285 pump out which i didn't need. I would have gladly payed him for his time just to assess and advice, but he was more interested in a quick buck than providing me with some a valuable service. I would not send my worse enemy to this guy.
