MR. CONKLIN REPEATEDLY FAILED TO SHOW UP TO DO THE WORK WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. HE DID NOT DO THE WORK IN THE MANNER HE PROMISED IN THE CONTRACT: THAT IS, TO EXPLAIN THE COST HE SAID THAT IT WOULD TAKE 2 MEN OVER 2 DAYS TO DO THE JOB. INSTEAD, ONLY HE CAME AND IT TOOK 9.5 HOURS. THAT WOULD NOT HAVE MATTERED HAD THE LEAKING STOPPED. ALTHOUGH HE GUARANTEED THE WORK FOR 10 YEARS, THE LEAKS RECURRED WITHIN 2 MONTHS. WHEN I TRIED TO CONTACT HIM, HIS HOME AND CELL PHONES BECAME DISCONNECTED, HE DID NOT RESPOND TO E-MAIL MESSAGES, AND HE DECLINED TO ACCEPT A CERTIFIED LETTER.
Description of Work: DUG A TRENCH ALONG PART OF THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE, ADDED A LITTLE WATERPROOFING TO THE NEWLY EXPOSED FOUNDATION AND GRADED THE LAWN TO TRY TO STOP WATER LEAKAGE.
