Description of Work: Mr. Shenkle saw that he missed my call and called me back. (He was in the middle of a job when I called him.) He squeezed us in between jobs. Very thorough. Explained everything. He responded quickly and came by to give me an estimate for the new service and to discuss other electrical work I wanted done in the future. He gave me a 3 week timeframe for the service work and he met that scheduled. Dave is one of the nicest contractors you will ever meet, very professional and knowledgeable. The install was done neatly both inside and out. The electrical inspector even complimented his work when he came by to inspect the installation.
Description of Work: Dave installed a 200 amp service and new breaker panel

Description of Work: David Shinkle responded to our request for an estimate on a number of electrical tasks at our small house. Mr. Shinkle was prompt, professional, completely understanding of our concerns, gave us a thorough explanation of work to be performed, very reasonable prices, and followed up to be sure we understood the estimate. Our situation has some complicated issues, partly because we are restricted by homeowner/management association regulations. When we get the approvals, we will definitely select David Shinkle to perform the work.

+ -1 moreDave did all the electrical work for our kitchen remodeling. He managed to do all we wanted working from existing circuits in our 30-year-old house. His work was skillful, and we felt he was always safety-conscious. When he could, he accommodated our needs on short notice, as we were juggling several contractors. He was proactive, prompt, and professional. We recommend him highly.
Description of Work: Extended existing kitchen counter receptacles by adding a two-gang box and two single gang boxes. Added a switch box and wire for garbage disposal. Installed 12 recessed lights in kitchen with all wiring needed. Removed ceiling fan and killed power to wire from upstairs receptacle. Installed kitchen counter receptacle and garbage disposal switch. Installed stove vent/light. Removed all extension boxes from existing kitchen boxes and installed new receptacles or switches. Installed new receptacle for microwave oven from an existing circuit not dedicated. Installed two dimmers for recessed lights.

Description of Work: Our electrical system kept switching itself off. Mr Shinkle came within 48 hours, found the problem and fixed it. Very pleasant, kind and honest.
