Shambach's Carpet Cleaning

Staff on the phone wasn't overly friendly or polite, no please and thank you's ( if I am giving you my hard earned cash for a service, you better be happy and polite and be appreciative of my business!). Service arrived on time on scheduled date. Worker did not have booties for his shoes and was very unhappy to be asked to remove shoes on our new carpeting. We had been having very wet weather and things were a bit muddy. Worker was also not very friendly, made no eye contact and did not speak to us the entire time here. He had to be told to open up recliners on both ends of the sofa and after he left we found some areas in the folds of the fabric and cushions that he didn't even touch with steam cleaner. The carpeting around the sofa was soaking wet. I wish he would have told us that it would get wet, we could have put something down to absorb it. We both work with the public and would surely be reprimanded or close to fired for providing services in this manner. We try to give business to local companies to keep the "little guys" in business. It's a sad shame that next time we need something steam cleaned or shampooed we will not be calling them or even recommending them to any of our friends or family.
