+ 0 moreRays picked the equipment up when they were in the area (I had told them I was in no hurry). They called two days before, so I had the equip outside for pick up. It was gone when I got home from work. They called once when they were doing the rider to ask if all I really wanted done was the deck belt. ( It apparently needed some welding. It is well over 15 years old so anything is possible! They called two days before to let me know that they were ready to deliver. I tried all of the equip out and they run fine, No snow to test the blower. Even the frozen pulley worked better. Overall I am a very happy consumer. :)
Description of Work: I had Rays pick up four pieces of equipment. Two push mowers, one riding mower, and one snowblower. The two push mowers would start but only run about twenty minutes, then die out. One of them had a pull start that kept trying to freeze up. Rays removed diassembled, cleaned and flushed the carb. and fuel tanks. Put in fresh fuel reassembled and ran them for 1/2 hour, and 1hr respectively. The snow blower would also quit running after a while. Rays did a winter service, which included an oil change spark plug change,drain old fuel and clean,overhaul carb, check and adjust drive compnents,belts,puuleys, tires/air,inspect auger bearing and gear box. They installed shear bolts,checked the starting system/greased and lubed, replaced skids, and wear bars as needed. Tested, adjusted as needed and stabilized the fuel. The riding mower needed a deck belt. (that I knew of). Rays also found and welded both brokenbelt covers. Installed the deck belt, Replaced missing front deck guides, sharpened and balanced the blades. Test run. All four pieces were washed/cleaned. They picked up, and delivered for thirty dollars (included in the total cost) they had to come over 10 miles.
