 + -1 moreI did not like the idea that since the property was 'cheap', the realtor charged a fee to both the seller and the buyer (I was the buyer). I had to pay several thousand dollars in a realtors fee which I know is becoming more and more of a common practice for inexpensive properties. I just didn't feel like my business was valuable.
Description of Work: I was shown a property in the price range I wanted, and the real estate agent did the appropriate work/paperwork.

 + -1 moreWe worked with her from December, 2009. We told her what kind of house we wanted and we looked at several houses. I sent her MLS numbers that she would send information on and she told us about the different neighborhoods that I asked her about. She was always ready and willing to help us find the perfect match. We keep in touch with her and if I have any questions about how to get around I can call her up and she will tell me whatever I need to know. It was a great experience and I will use her again in the future.
Description of Work: Christine Harzell of Re/Max of the Poconos was my real estate agent. She helped us buy a house.
