Went great. Had pellet stove and wood burner cleaned. Kevin said the wood stove was ok. Cleaned stove and cleaned pellet stove and flue. Was 100 less than quoted. Got his card will use again. Great service very honest recommend highly!!!!!

Was very professional and courteous. Taught my husband a few things while he was there. Will definitely keep his information and call again in the future.

He inspected our chimney and informed us that our fire box needed to be repaired. So he said that he would only charge us for the call and not the cleaning since the fireplace was not to be able to be used. Then he told us about different options that we can do with the fireplace.

I contacted Steve for a new chimney cap and chimney cleaning. Steve arrived on time and first began inspection of both chimneys, he stated chimneys did not need to be cleaned this season. He then measured for chimney cap. Initial visit was very professional and informative. He stated cap would be ready in a week. He returned when schedule and installed cap. I am very happy with his service and honesty.

.I have been using a coal stove insert to heat my house for the past few years. We occasionally burn wood also so I wanted to know if any creosote or excessive ash residue was accumulating. Steve performed a thorough inspection of the fireplace and chimney. He found a minor problem with the brickwork above the roofline and made some caulk repairs. He explained that there was no reason to perform (and pay for) a cleaning of the chimney since there was only minor ash build up. Steve does great work and is extremely honest. I'd be more than willing to use his services in the future. I highly recommend him.

He did a good job. He was very thorough, explained what he was doing, was very neat too, like the inside of the house did a full of dusting stuff in the foot and he seemed honest. The price is reasonable. He was punctual. He was here when he said he was going to be here and everything. We would use him again.

I called a local guy...don't want to mention his name but he was really happy about soot ;).... to clean my chimney a few months back. He told me the chimney was really dirty and that it would cost $600-$700 to clean. I was not real impressed with everything. He charged me $265 to clean the chimney of one of my houses and "inspect" this one. He was at my houses a total of 1 hour. I didn't make $265/hour as an airline pilot. Anyway, I called Steve, told him everything, he went to the house with out me(I was out of state), cleaned the chimney, called to let me how it went and charged me $150. He said thew chimney had a little glazing that he cleaned, but nothing to be worried about. I think I'm a fairly good judge of people and never got a good feel from the first guy, and really liked Steve.

Called Steve based on reviews I had seen on Angie's List and boy am I glad I did. Steve was very prompt with a call back, setup a date and time, arrived early on the date (and even called before hand to make sure arriving early was ok) and did a great job. Our woodstove, installed two years ago, was having issues with insufficient draft making it unusable. Steve diagnosed the problem (clogged screen in the cap), corrected it, inspected the entire system, performed the cleaning and gave me a thorough explanation of what he found and did. The woodstove is now back up and running perfectly heating my house and saving me money. I will absolutely use this company again and encourage others to do so as well.

They are reliable and he only ever does the work that is needed. He never over estimates or over charges the job. He really does work carefully and precisely. It usually takes about 45 minutes to look over or clean the chimney. He is really clean and there is never a mess in the house.

Steve said our chimney was in good condition - he noticed a small crack in the fireplace but said it would not harm it's use. He suggested we close the flue when not in use to conserve heating.

I have a fireplace insert and a piece was broken. I thought I would have to call the fireplace installer to fix it. He went out to his truck and got a replacement part and fixed it. Wow!

Made the appointment on Wednesday., Steve showed up on time on Friday, Fixed the problem with my chimney cap and gave overall inspection. Finished quickly and charged me for the initial visit as he had indicated. Will use Steve as my chimney sweep from now on. Excellent service by a nice guy.

Called late one night to set something up. was very quick at getting back to me. Answered all my questions. I would have used him but I checked the chimney myself which turned out to be really clean. Will use him for future jobs6-

I found Steve on Angieslist and since he has very good reviews I called him on Monday 11/5/12 and he quickly returned my call the same day. I set up for him to come and clean my chimneys on Friday 11/9/12 at 9:00 AM and he was here a little early ready to get right to work after telling me what he would do. Two hours later I am all set for another heating season here in the Poconos

This was a general maintenance call. Steve arrived early, worked thoroughly and even went an extra lap by trying to clean my uncleanable coal stove window. He covered the area around the stove with a tarp to keep the place clean. I'd use him again as long as I am in his service area.

The service performed was very good.

He arrived punctually and explained what he would do. He proceeded to check the fireplace and free standing stove chimneys. After inspection from the house, he proceeded to the roof. Once completed, he informed us that the chimneys were clean and in excellent condition and did not require cleaning. I appreciate his honesty. In today's economy, many contractors suggest work that is not needed simply to make money. Steve could have done that, but he didn't. I would recommend him and will certainly call him again when his services are needed.
