*I PREFER PHONE CALLS over email because i don't check email much so please call if i miss your call leave a message and ill call you right back.thank you.* I worked out in the field from 2006 to now but. Spice it up handyman is my own business. i started it in 2009 but just like everyone i started out with schooling and working in this filed to get where I'm at today owning my own business. most the time its just me but i have a helper as needed. I prefer to charges an hourly rate with a travel fee.witch i notice saves people money and end's up being cheaper then a bid sometimes and they can keep adding things on to do because i'm so fast and good at what i do. but if you insist to have a bid because that's what you want or because its a big job i can do that for you and sorry no coupons or discounts at this time but over time after doing lots of work for you and getting to know you i will take care of you.in someway or another.

Description of Work: Brian replaced a tub faucet cartridge that had gone bad causing the faucet to leak. The cartridge was difficult to remove but he stuck with it only to find out the replacement cartridge I purchased for the job was the wrong size! He was very patient while I ran to Home Depot for the right part for him to install without a problem. I did not know at the time that Moen guarantees this part, Brian was very knowledgeable, called Moen for me and they sent out a replacement cartridge that I will hang on to if ever the situation occurs again in the other tub. I would not hesitate to use Brian for any future projects.

Response from Spice It Up Handyman-I Do It All!
This person is the daughter of the costumer that i was supposed to do work for she. Is a angies list member and had told her mom to call me but. I don't know if she knows what happen but before she starts rating me she should know that i went to meet her mom and dad to look at the work they wanted to have done and her mother was happy about everything i told her like how i charge how i do things and stuff like that. I had then asked her mother if shes giving me the job and if i can book her a day and she said yes. I then said before you say yes i want you to know i have a $30 cancellation fee so that i can hold you a day and get your supplies anytime from now till the day of the job she then said yes that's fine. So i booked her and because she was so nice to me i was going to get her in right away so i had got her supplies that night. I then called her the next day to tell her that i can start her job monday morning witch was in 3 days from when i meet her she then said i'm cancelling the job i told her i had supplies already and if she did that and didn't put another job in its place i had to charge her the fee. She said ok. And was every nice about it. And she paid me witch i thought was very respectful. So i hope her daughter see's this and understands why i had to do what i did and removes this rating post she put now knowing what happen and that i had a day held for her and i was stuck with having to return a lot of supplies that took me time and money to get and return.

Description of Work: Put light over Kitchen sink, Re-placed 8 light switches, Fixed ceiling fan, caulk around flashing on the roof and fixed 2 walls with cracking paint. I'm having him come back next year to put new roof on the house.
