Spice It Up Handyman-I Do It All!

Brian was very professional and very nice. I actually went on home advisor to find a contractor to fix the 2 shingles that were coming up on my roof. I called Phil Evans Roofing @ Home Advisor to see what it would cost to basically naill down 2 shingles that were lifting up on my roof. The contractor told me for him to bring his crew out it would cost 325.00 to nail down 2 loose shingles. I was quite surprised that it cost that much. Phil Evans Roofing told me what I needed to do was find a handy man because they would be a lot cheaper. He said he had used Brian Spicer on his house and his Mother-in-laws house and his work was outstanding. I gave Brian a call on Wednesday he came out on Friday 04/15/17 and did the work. I had made quite a long list of things I needed done around my house. After Brian had done the work on my house I was so pleased I went over the list I had made and ask him if he would be able to do the work. Brian said yes. I am so greatful that Evans Roofing gave me Brian Spicer phone number. I have found my hany man for life. I highly recommend Brian Spicer for any jobs that a handy would do. I was nervous when I first hired him because he charges by the hour. But he is very efficient and wastes no time. I'm sure that if I had hired someone by the job based on a quote, it would have cost more. Those guys make sure that there's enough padding in their estimates to comfortably cover them. If the job is done faster, the price is the same.

Brian made the extra effort to call me back promptly after I left him a message about the work I needed to have done. He also expressed sincere concern to do the work before first snow and cold hit western PA. Although I was at work while he completed this project, there was no sign of any mess which is often the case with gutter cleaning, and equally as important, he sent me a text with a few suggestions on avoiding future gutter problems. We will hire him to do additional work at our house. Great guy, pleasure to deal with! His work is worth every cent!

Brian is always on time, professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him for your handyman needs. If your project is out of his wheelhouse, no problem, he'll let you know that and may know someone that can tackle it for you.

I've hired Brian before with excellent results, so I had high expectations. These were small jobs, but he did them just as carefully and professionally as the larger jobs. The sink drain was a messy job, but when he finished the area was as clean as when he started. After working on the light, we both agreed that repair wasn't possible. I decided to replace the fixture and ordered a. New one. When it arrives I will have Brian install it.

Brian is a wiz. He charges $65 / hour + $30 per trip fee (and, of course, supplies cost). He works quickly and smartly and does a very good job. He is reliable and communicates well - even via text! We have hired him twice already and will always call him when we need things done in and around the house.

Brian did very good work completing the installation of our stationary tub. The re-grouting work looks very nice. The old grout had cracks and chips which he fixed. With our kitchen light he had to install the wiring and a new light switch, since there was no prior light fixture there above our kitchen sink.

Brian was very responsive and did a great job. He returned my call promptly and showed up at the scheduled time. He did the repairs quickly and left our home clean.

Brian did a very nice job building our new guardrail using some of the wood from our old one to save us some money. We like the look of our new guardrail so much better. He also did a great job installing the plumbing for a new stationary tub for our laundry area. We took before and after pictures of the guardrail and the plumbing for the stationary tub.
