Description of Work: I've hired Brian for a couple of jobs now and I have another in the chute for after Christmas. Brian is honest, fast, reasonably priced, and will pretty much do anything you don't want to do, know how to do or don't have the equipment for. Drywall repair, tiling, quarter-round nailing, power-washing, super high light bulb replacement, gutter cleaning, ceiling fan installation.... whatever. He does it.

Description of Work: We had Brian paint our bathroom. He removed old wallpaper border, cleaned walls and ceiling I was not able to do, patched and then primed and painted 3 coats in some areas for us.(we picked a bright color) He was very helpful suggesting the correct paints for the job and the best way to handle any issues we had. He was prompt, friendly and very efficient. He completed the job in one 9 hour day.He also noticed we had an issue with our toilet while he was here and fixed that for us also even though not on the initial agenda. We will definitely use Brian again .

Description of Work: Painted the front door(primer and 2 coats), painted the mail slot and a window frame, installed new lights beside the front door, fixed a broken wooden step(outdoors) and repaired 2 light switches. Everything went well except there are several pin-head specks on the door where the paint didn't cover. I will fix that! We were well satisfied.

Very personable, easy to work with, and very responsive from the first phone call, to the work, to the very end. Overall we are very satisfied with the work and very happy with the results. Would definitely recommend him for any type of handymen job and consider using him again for work. Description of Work: Worked a total of 19 1/2 hours at our home which was to repair lots of various cracks in plaster walls and ceilings. It was a very big and time consuming job and we didn't want the hassle of messing with it ourselves so we hired Brian, who did a great job. There was lots of sanding, and re-applying multiple layers of plaster. Also we had wallpaper removed from 2 rooms and had Brian re-paint those walls as well. He removed the light fixtures to paint, and then re-hooked them back up after the job was completed. He really saved us a lot of time and labor of doing the job on our own and he did it the way we would.

 + 5 more.We asked Brian to provide an estimate on finishing our basement. He arrived promptly at our home and provided an estimate within a few days. He started work in a week or so and was on time every day, worked long days (I do not remember any breaks being taken) and did a great job. I was concerned as the sanding made a bit of a mess, but everything was cleaned up very nicely. All in all it took approximiately 3 weeks to complete (one week of full 8-10 hour days and two weeks of partial days). He had one gentleman assist him and both were always on time and extremely professional. Definitely hard workers. We are excited to have our basement finished and have already recommended Brian to three family members. We would absolutely use him for jobs in the future.
Description of Work: Finished basement: framed walls, insulated walls, installed plaster board, taped/sanded, primed/painted walls. All electrical work. Plumbing in half bathroom and additional plumbing to hook up utility sink in garage. $5200 is labor cost only and does not include material costs.

 + -1 moreIt went extremely well. Brian is well organized and brought all the tools and supplies he needed to complete the job. He also brought the drylok paint as I wasn't sure what to buy. I supplied the paint to match underneath the steps and landing, and the garage wall. He did a great job and finished in less than 5 hours. He does all his own work and does not use helpers. He uses top quality products and does it right the first time. I will definitely call him the next time I need work done on my house.
Description of Work: Wire brushed peeling areas from basement wall and applied 2 coats of drylok paint. Raised steps from landing to basement, framed and installed new wood bracing underneath steps, and painted same. Reattached vinyl tile to steps and applied trim to edges where steps meet wall. Caulked and painted mortar cracks in garage cinder block wall. Repaired two stuck sliding closet doors.
