Spice It Up Handyman-I Do It All!

Everything went well. Brian was very professional and provided the skills to produce excellent results. He was very concerned that I was pleased with the work. I was pleasantly surprised when he called me while collecting supplies at Lowes. He wanted to be certain that the purchase of the weather stripping would work since it might not be an exact match. Most people would have just made the purchase. His consideration was appreciated. I will call Brian again. His work was a 10 out of 10.

Brian's work is top notch. He explains everything he is doing and when he is finished he asked me to inspect the work to make sure it was to my satisfaction. I know I will be calling him again.

Arrived on time; was prepared. did the work in a professional manner.Polite, knew was was needed and did it. Very nice gentleman even gave me a window repairs name.

Brian works so quickly and is so focused, the job was done before I knew it. He went out of his way to get the preferred type of wood for the railings, measured, cut and installed the new boards, paying attention to how they matched up, and using screws instead of nails for a quality fit. I will be calling him back in the fall to stain the railings

I had waited months and months for an electrician to come repair my front lights. Tired of waiting for them to return my calls. I called Brian and he responded immediately and had the repairs done within 2 weeks, since he had to work around my work schedule. I have used Brian in the past and will continue to use his services in the future. He is very conscientious and takes pride in doing a good job.

Brian was responsive and professional, his work was good quality, very pleased. Previously I had called two contractors who arrived, took a look at what I needed done then never called back to me even after multiple follow up calls. Will be using Brian again.

Arrived as scheduled and got to work immediately. Measured/cut/inserted new drywall, very neat, very little dust, and he doesn't take a break from start to finish. Job looks great and most times I forget I ever had those two large holes in my ceiling. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone, in fact I just did.

Brian spent 4 days tearing down a pool (not an easy job) and then cutting huge bushes all around my yard. They have been long over due for a cutting for over 10 years and he had to do each one with a hand tool. After being scratched all over he finished the job. He is dependable, fast and a very hard worker. Highly recommended!

Brian really wants to please. He works very hard. I always have a list of typical house issues and he manages to take care of all of them.

He was very responsive and was out the next day. Not the cheapest - $260 for 3.3 hours of work.

I was so happy that he was able to come and fix my dryer. He even went and bought the parts for me and was very nice.

This was the second job Brian performed for us. He came out to take a look at the project and let us know it would be a few weeks before he could get to it, which was fine. This job was of course weather dependent, being outside. He contacted us a few times to give us information about his schedule and planned work date. Once the weather improved, Brian quickly scheduled us and came to repair the wall. His price was very fair, and the job site was well cleaned after he finished. Best of all, the wall looks better than before, well done and no longer tilting forward. It will stay standing for a long time! We will definitely use Brian in the future.

Brian was very professional and prompt. I contacted him to lay hardwood laminate and quarter round in my mother's bedroom. He worked with my busy schedule and immediately set up a date. He had difficulty working with the flooring, not his fault....we purchased it at Lowe's on sale (original price wasn't cheap). Not sure if the wood sat in a warehouse for a time, but when he went to install, some of it chipped. He overcame the difficulties of installing it and the end result was beautiful. I had reached out to several people for pricing including Brian. No one even got back to me except him. I would highly recommend him, a very kind and courteous professional

Everything went great. Vent pipe was cleaned, put back together, and re-sealed. Re-insulated area as it goes outside.

He either answers his phone or calls back promptly. He worked us into his Saturday schedule and was there when he said he would be. He spent about 45 minutes and it was fixed. He cleans everything up and is pleasant to deal with. We have used Brian Spicer several times in the past - both in our home and previously with rental properties. He does a multitude of things - he has painted, installed electrical fixtures, done plumbing, even carpentry. He's gotten progressively better and better over the years of working with him. He's much better at offering projected costs - or he charges by the hour, which is easier to gauge. We would highly recommend Brian. He's a very nice guy, don't have to worry about a stranger in your home. He's always pleasant and willing to help with anything.

From the moment I met Brian I knew I had found a gem. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about electrical installations. He came to the jobsite totally prepared (a rental property) and installed an electrical fan in the ceiling of the bathroom with ease. He definitely knows what he's doing when it comes to electrical repairs and I would not hesitate to use him for any other repairs I may have. In addition to installing the bathroom fan, he repaired a bi-fold door in the apartment that had not been opening properly for years! The $350.00 price of the door repair and fan installation included the fan itself (approx. $100.00). He is very meticulous about his work and it shows! In fact I will be giving him a call today about a ceiling repair/kitchen cabinet repair in my son's home.

He did a professional job on the doors. He had to taper the on end because the floor was sloped, and it came out beautifully. He was fast, courteous, and he even gave us some helpful suggestions on a project that another contractor was working on.

Brian was extremely professional and personable. He talked me through his process every step of the way! He worked his butt off to make sure all functionality of the dishwasher was working and no leaks. He was very knowledgable and we will use Brian in the future!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brian is very prompt and professional. He did a fantastiic job at repairing the holes in my ceiling and patches in the powder room. What would have taken me days took him 2 hours. He is very reasonably priced. I am making my next list for him and would highly recommend him.

Brian completed my to-do list very well. He also worked with an eye to time, determining the best way to handle the projects with a minimum of time spent on the job. But what impressed me the most was that while I was showing him what I wanted him to work on, he noticed that the weight-bearing pole in my garage was exposed to water and was rusting. This was something that I had always worried about, but I hadn't thought that there could be a permanent solution. He came up with a quick, inexpensive, and inventive way to protect it from further damage. Also, while he was working he noticed that a drainage pipe going into the garage cement floor was not sealed, leaving the house exposed to possible radon gas. He took ten seconds to seal it with the sealant he was using to complete my baseboard job! I'll be calling Brian for my next projects.

He did what a lot of repair men do not want to do and that is to repair a previous contractors' That's what Mr. Spicer did. , He is very knowledgable, and a bit of a perfectionist- thats always a good thing. Never stopped for lunch or rest. I will definitely be calling him in the future.

Brian came when he said he would and did just what we had discussed. He is a quick worker. We had moved most of the stuff in the basement out of his way, but he had to move some things. He was neat and very efficient. Cleanup was excellent. He is very polite and professional.
