I contacted them and they got back to me in a week. They were thorough, explained what they do, explained all the regulations they had to follow, and explained all the delays. They did it all in one day. I was satisfied. I am confident they did the best thing for my tree. It was an artful masterpiece. They did a good job.

One man came out to see what needed to be done and later he emailed me with an estimate. Several days later he called and asked if that covered everything and I told him of another plant that needed to be removed. I told them I accepted their estimate of $400. worth of work and later they called and told me they would be out the next day to cut down the shrubs. When I came home from work the bushes were gone and everything was trimmed and cleaned-up.

They returned my call promptly. came for estimate promptly & emailed an estimate the next day. Date set for a few weeks later, depending on weather. 4 guys showed up on time and worked for four hours, plus time to load and haul away two truckloads of grindings and huge logs. Very skilled and professional, good teamwork. I was entranced watching the guy who did all the climbing & sawing of branches. They cleaned up the entire area, including sawdust etc on neighbor's shed roof. The invoice was for the estimated amount, was e-mailed to me the next day. I paid over the phone with my credit card (love those frequent flyer miles ;-) Would definitely hire them again. (I found them thru Angie's List)

Very thorough, excellent customer service. They were very prompt with scheduling an estimate and the representative ( a certified arborist) carefully listened to work I desired to have, as well as made suggestions of other issues I had not noticed. In addition to working primarily with my rep, the office reached out to make sure I had all my questions answered. Work needed to be divided up to 2 separate dates due to equipment required; all staff were prompt and courteous. We definitely will use this company for future services.

Overall everything went perfectly. I couldn't ask for more.

Ivan (Certified Arborist from Joshua Tree) met with me at my house. We walked around my property and he gave me advice about each of the trees in my yard (which to prune, which had diseases and should be removed). He also spoke about tree treatments to maintain the heath of the trees in my yard. He sent me a itemized proposal for the job about a week later. I appreciate that the proposal was itemized and that I was able to pick and choose which pieces of the proposal I was interested in pursuing. The 2 trees were removed and the other were pruned. They did an excellent job with little interference to me or my schedule. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again in the future.

Over all everything was smooth and professional.

I had a 60 foot oak tree that was knocked down and into another 60 foot tall tree due to Hurricane Sandy. They removed the fallen oak tree and they also removed another dead tree we had on our property. They arrived within 48 hours to give an estimate and were out the next week to do the work. They were in and out in about 2.5 hours and I expected it to take the better half of a day. They did an excellent job. We are very grateful and pleased with the job they did. After the work, Ivan, the sales rep, came out later the same day to follow up with me and make sure we were satisfied with the job that was done.

Joshua tree was a great company to work with. We called and they came out a few days later to check out the job. Very quickly we received an email estimate of the job. There was no high pressure sales, no forced pitch. To accept the offer, all we had to do was email them back. About 2 days after accepting the proposal, I received a call from one of their foreman stating another job had finished early and the crew would be out to take care of the tree. By the time I got home from work, the job was complete and my yard was left in great shape. No mess, no debris. Their front office was great for payment and it was a nice and easy transaction for everyone involved. I also liked how they communicated with customers regarding the recent Hurricane Sandy event. They reached out to everyone and provided clear priorities that they would be following. Luckily we didn't need their services after the storm, but if we needed a tree service in the future, I would call them again!

The work went very well. I was very impressed by the professionalism of the supervising arborist and the work crew. The crew's work methods were top-notch, and it is clear that safety is a paramount tenet of their work. The yard was cleaned up so that there was not a trace of branches, leaves or other debris.

Joshua's offce was very professional. I had a call the same day and the estimator came out the next day. I had a proposal emailed to me and they also called and followed-up with me via email. Very very professional. Unfortunately they were over double everyone else's bids so I didnt contract with them.

The price was little higher than somebody else, but we have used them a couple of times and we really like them. I would continue to use them.

From the time I called, I was treated professionally and with respect. Jamie Moser called me and asked what I needed and made an appointment in a few days from the phone call. He arrived promptly and was very helpful in his recommendations. After the visit, I was given a proposal within a day. I agreed to the proposal over email and was given a schedule for service. So far all the services were performed by extrememly courteous and helpful people. When the service person shows up they greet me politely and give me an explanation of everything they will do. Then they ask if I have any questions. This kind of treatment makes you feel very important to the process and in control.

I have been a customer for Joshua Tree for 3 season nows and I would never consider using another tree service. They have always been on time with their appointments and the work was fully completed as agreed upon. The summer of 2010, I had a large maple tree trimmed and pruned and it looked great. That winter, when the storms were heavy there was a particularly heavy ice and snow which cause countless tree to be broken and destroyed in my neighborhood. I have 3 trees on my property, all of which have been serviced by Joshua Tree, and not a single branch broke from any of the trees. I credit that to the excellent care my trees received from Joshua Tree.

My overall experience was fine with them. They showed up when they said they would. They did the work in one day. They were very neat about what they did. They did exactly what they said. They had come and given me an estimate and told me what would happen; that’s what happened. They were very knowledgeable about the trees and the condition of the trees. In the summer time when we had terrible snow storm and the trees come down, we had nothing like that as we had got the dead wood removed. I would use them in the future.

The quality of the work was excellent. The crew was very professional and courteous. I found overall the company was quick to respond by email. The only downside is that it seemed to take a very long period of time to get the work scheduled. If you have some patience, you will be pleased with the quality of the work.

When I received the quote for the work, I initially felt the cost was high. I received two additional quotes and Joshua Tree's quote was the best. I know Joshua Tree does very good work because I have used this company in the past. When I scheduled the work, Joshua Tree was a little backlogged (due to some recent storms that swept through the area and they were involved with cleanup of downed trees and branches), so I had to wait approximately three weeks for the service. Joshua Tree telephoned me when they were available to do the work, so I feel they communicate very well. The Joshua Tree technicians informed me when they arrived on my property, asked me if I had any additional comments or questions on the work they were to perform, and they went to work. Before they left, the technicians did a great job cleaning up and asked me to inspect their work. Joshua Tree technicians were very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. They did a great job and I was very pleased with their work.

Very friendly and pleasant...but was out of range for our budget.

An arborist from this company arrived on time and did a very thorough analysis of the tree issues we had. He recommended some corrective actions to resolve these issues. It took about 7 or 8 days after he was here to receive the estimate to perform the job.
