I would recommend them. They did great. I thought their price was a little on the high side but I guess it was what we could expect because we checked with others, too.

We have previously used other tree trimming companies and our experience has not been , well let's just say satisfactory. Joshua Tree has been a pleasure . From our first encounter with Joel to the end result - they are phenomenal! Joel came right out and walked around with us discussing what needed to come down. We had to have trees cut along the drive for heavy equipment that would be coming in to do some work . He said he would send us the quote via e-mail. And sure enough about an hour later we received it. We had asked for a certain date to have the job done and Joel was able to accommodate it. The day of the job they showed up first thing in the morning . Joel walked through the property with the guys showing them exactly what we wanted done. They had quite a tough job dealing with other workers coming in and out. But yet remained professional and polite and got the job done quickly and effectively. Cleaned up all debris . My husband and I give them an A+. This was an exceptionally hard situation with all the other people working in the yard.. maneuvering dump trucks and other heavy equipment. Joshua Tree is spectacular all the way through. Everything is made very easy for the customer - from receiving and accepting the quote to payment . We will most definitely use them again and have already told our neighbors how wonderful an experience it has been to use Joshua Tree.

We were very pleased with them. I do not remember the cost of the service because we have used them a couple of times in our backyard and we split it with the neighbor behind because it was done in both properties. They always follow up with an email making sure that everything was cleaned up properly and then they send monthly emails on things that we might want to have done like landscaping for the time of the year. I think that their price is a little high but I think that it was worth it. I think that we could have gotten it done for less but it would not have been as professionally done, cleaned up as much and all that.

They are very professional, on time, tidy and knowledgeable. Everything was fine!

From start to finish Jacob's Tree Service crew were professional, prompt and fast . They did an excellent job. We were a bit nervous because the cedar is within 10 feet from our in-ground pool. The 3 guys that worked on the removal were very skilled, professional and they were amazing to watch. Cleanup was also excellent. You would never know they were there. No evidence of any saw dust ! We are extremely happy and definitely would recommend them and use them again.

Joshua Tree had a arborist come out to my home to inspect my tree and provide an estimate of the work required. They understood the time constraints from the township and made the time in their schedule to complete the work. When the crew arrived on time, they were clear about the work that they would perform, correcting a misunderstanding, on my part. I had thought they were going to remove more of the branch than needed, they advised me if they had it would have killed the tree. Without asking, the crew also trimmed the branches that had the potential of causing future issues with power lines running through the tree and to my home. They left the property clean, removing all the limbs and branches the cut. Additionally I'd asked for the foreman to take a look at another tree that I was thinking of removing. He, without hesitation, took a look and provided a basic estimate based on his professional experience. He was clear that I would still need to have an arborist come out when I was ready for a complete inspection and estimate. I will use Joshua Tree again when I need and future tree services.

Joshua Tree were professional and they did what they said they were going to do. They itemized the bill for me because we were having lots of work done over a period of time and they itemized things. I told them to give me everything like alacarte so I can pick and choose what I wanted to get done based on the prices and they did that for me.

Professional job as promised for a reasonable price.

The crew of 5-6 arrived about 8 a.m. as scheduled. The supervisor - who had also made the original visit and estimate - showed the men what had to be done, and they worked steadily until the job was completed at about 2pm. They had a wood chipper that easily handled even the largest branches, and debris was constantly being cleaned up. When the job was finished, the foreman went over what had been done to make sure we were satisfied. Tree climbing is definitely a hazardous job, especially when it involves the use of a chainsaw. I was happy to see that all of the crew was wearing proper safety gear.

A tree was recently partially removed by the city, and we were required to have the remainder of the tree taken down, the stump ground, and a new tree planted. The city required you to use one of their approved/licensed vendors. During October and November, I called many on the approved list and requested quotes. If any offered any substantially different services, they did not specify so in their estimates, so one must assume they perform about the same service. Ivan Gehman from this firm was most personable and prompt in visiting, inspecting and providing a quote. Unfortunately, that quote was the highest or second highest received from 5 different vendors, so we will not be using their service. Their quote was $1925.50 and the best received was $900 so their price was more than twice as much. I wouldn't mind getting a quote from Joshua's in the future, but it surely appears that pricewise they are out of the ballpark on this job. The guys came on time finished in great time. They were great. Did a great job. I will be using them again. Best tree service in town.

I talked to a number of people about it and they suggested it could be insects and that the tree may need to come down. Joel, from Joshua Tree, came out to take a look. He said that the needle loss I was concerned about oftentimes happens naturally; pines sometimes drop needles as this can keep their branches lighter when covered in snow. I asked if I needed it sprayed, he said it would actually be better to wait until spring to do it, he didn't even charge me for his time or the drive out - it must have taken an hour for him to get here. He was very honest and knew his business, I will be calling them in the spring.

They are very responsive to my calls. I am able to schedule an appointment easily. I was able to talk to the owner, and he is great to deal with. He was able to answer all my questions I had well. It took three crew members and three hours to complete the work.

The service is always excellent. They do a great job cleaning up. I use them annually. They charge me $1,000 for a day.

I have been using Joshua Tree since last year... storms ruined our flowering pear tree... they came in a timely fashion and removed the tree and ground out the stump last fall..This spring I had them replace that tree with a Japanese Red Maple and then add an additional flowering cherry tree to the opposite side of the front yard ...both trees were ordered, and planted with such professionalism ..that except for the fact that 2 new trees are now growing on our front lawn.. you wouldn't even know that they were here !!! I also contracted them to continue to provide lawn fertilization services this year ..(as well as last year). Again, a total professional job.. from start to finish.. Love them !

I am on a yearly program with them and they are a good company and so I don't mind recommending them. They are very professional, they seem to know their business very well. They are a small company, they are very responsive and they are very professional, I get an email confirming their service within 24 hours of them being here.Their price is average and the quality of service is very good.

I got this company from Angie's List and they're outstanding. They price they charge was relatively expensive. They basically came in to get kind of a tree root for me and they gave me a really good price. They came in and they did everything they said they were going to do. When I have other things needs to be done I would surely call them back.

Once scheduled they arrived promptly, discussed what they were doing and went about their work. They were efficient and professional. We were very pleased with the results.

Their price was reasonable and they were prompt.

They are prompt, considerate, and try to be conservative and only trim the trees that really need it. I can't say enough about them, they are fantastic!

I thought the estimate was very expensive. I called Cressman Tree Service. They did the same job for $1,800!!!

It was a very good experience with Joshua Tree. They were professional, when they said they would be here, they were here. They are actually trained arborists and we have a Japanese Maple which is a very slow growing tree so we want to be sure that we have good people that know how to trim it when it needs to be done. They were very knowledgeable.

The guy providing the estimate was easy to schedule with and showed up on time. Unfortunately the estimate I felt was very high. I was quoted under $2000 for the same services by another local company. The trees are big but are far from California Redwoods! And now because I gave my e-mail address to receive the estimate I was automatically enrolled to continue receiving junk mail from them.

After calling for an estimate, I was contacted immediately and someone came within a day to give me an estimate. After signing a contract, the work was done within a short time.
