Description of Work: We just moved to PA and we have two large silver oak trees in our front yard that needed pruning badly. We chose Joshua Tree due to the many great reviews it received from Angie's list. We couldn't agree more with the others. They arrived on the day it was scheduled and even came earlier in the day than expected. The guys began work around 10:30 am and it was completed including the clean up (which was immaculate) around1:30 pm. The pruning on our silver oaks was beautiful. We needed several larger branches cut to the trunk on one side (which were laying close and on our slate roof), among many other branches throughout the tree. I was afraid that the tree would look lop-sided. It didn't at all when they finished because the way they pruned all the other branches it has a beautiful shape, better than before they started the job. They did a beautiful job on the street tree also. We couldn't be more please and we feel so much more at ease now, not worrying about branches toppling down on our house or on the ground if there is a strong storm. They are also reasonably priced for their excellent work. I would not hesitate to call on them again. We even had a neighbor come over to ask for a business card - they also need tree work done and will consider calling them when they are ready. Description of Work: A representative from Joshua Tree made an appointment with me and then we walked the property. There was a variety of work and the inspection was very useful in terms of what kind and how much work should be done. One tree that just appeared to have overhanging branches, not only was covered with lichens, it also had a large hole at the roots that was covered by brush. That discovery was very useful and the tree was removed. I wanted one tree topped - probably not part of best practices - but it was what I needed and they did the work in the best way it could be done. Dead branches were removed from a number or large trees. Overall they did a fine job and cleaned up afterwards. I was very satisfied.

Description of Work: We have some large trees in our yard that needed spraying for diseases and parasites and they are too big for us to do. They came out, diagnosed the situations, made a plan, gave us a price (not estimate) and then came and performed the service. They were very pleasant and did exactly what they said they would do. I am very happy with the results, the trees look better already.

Description of Work: I had cherry trees examined for disease and also had a large yew removed. All staff were punctual and professional at all times. The yew is gone and the trees are doing much better. I have used this vendor several times and would recommend them without any reservations to anyone Looking for a qualified arborist. |

Description of Work: reduced,pruned(to reduce height and spread)of 5 trees of various sizes; reduced, pruned large rhodendron, large magnolia; removed two arborvita and one tree. Walked the property with us before and after work was completed to make sure it was what we were wanted and were satified; professional, efficient and pleasant to deal with from beginning to end.

Description of Work: I am having a consult on Monday 5/13/13.They emailed me the same day I called and then the tree expert called and made an appointment visit my sick tree.

Description of Work: Called for an estimate for tree removal and yard clean-up after hurricane Sandy. They were very prompt in responding to my call and providing an estimate. Although the extimate was thorough it was 4x higher than any of the other estimated I received.
