In some areas he did okay, but the front stair case which was a major part is not level. They did not put the right paint on either. The paint has not held up because he only put one coat of paint on it. All of the work is rusting out that he did. We tried to get him to come back originally to fix the paint but he wouldn't. I will now have to spend about another $5,000 to $10,000 to fix my staircase. He is not very honest, and would not come back to do the job right. I wouldn't recommend him to anybody else.

He is a wily man. His prices are a bit on the high side, but he is a man of his word. He knows all of the historic buildings in the area.
Description of Work: His specialty is historic work on cast iron steps and railings. I had to have a set of cast iron steps completed. I had about 75% done and needed about 25% more. The missing parts he goes to a foundry to make or he will find a supplier who has them.

They do custom iron work and re-fabricate antique steps. They do pretty specialty work and do it very well. I think they are a little expensive and not very responsive.
Description of Work: They took old steps out and installed new iron steps for me.
