I picked Tom's Appliance Services for two reasons; it had good reviews and I believe in supporting local businesses. I was disappointed when I was charged over $70 for a bolt to be tightened on the inside of my dryer and less than 15 minutes of work. When I called to ask if they thought this was a reasonable charge, an if you were in my shoes kinda question, I didn't expect to get a lesser bill. But one never knows without trying. I did expect, however an appreciation of my business. Instead I was faced with a confrontational individual who in a number of words told me if I was unhappy to take my business elsewhere. I stated we weren't going to see eye to eye on this issue and was ready to bid him farewell and lick my wounds but before this could be done he began to belittle me about working in an office (I don't) and ask me about the price of my vehicle I drove to work. Although I still strongly believe in supporting local business, I also believe in do business where it is appreciated.
Description of Work: Tightened bolt on inner portion of clothes dryer.
