Description of Work: If you have an emergency, Norris is there for you. When I got basement flooding during a winter thaw, they got an emergency sump pump set up and installed a replacement that has worked well since. They even figured out where the old one was (cause that stumped me for a long time...). The staff is very comforting as well, but will need to make sure you have enough funds stashed away somewhere.

Heat pump was incorrectly wired, so it did not work and made loud noises if turned on. Called Norris. They ignored my calls for Service. Finally, after 5 months, i called the regional manager of the manufacturer. Informed Norris of the the manager coming to inspect the unit. Norris showed up the night before to fix the wiring problems (again, this is after 5 months of calling). Fixed the problem. Heat pump broke after 1 year of use (how much due to lack of yearly service, which promised?). Again called Norris -- same response. No Service on what they Sell. Waited a month and finally called another local HVAC firm. Did a $1000 repair on the heat pump. I will never use Norris again. They do not service what they sell and drag their heels on any fixes on the initial installation. I did not agree to a $28,000 job to be treated in this manner.

Description of Work: Remodeling. We paid in full. The quality of the work was great, however overpriced. They did not finish a small but significant part of the project. We called numerous times, but our calls either were not returned or if returned they did not come back to finish their work. This made us very frustrated and sad.

The job was performed great. After visiting my home and seeing my leaking hot water heater, the owner Will, discussed options with me for replacement and I decided to upsize from a standard 40 gallon gas fired unit to a 50 gallon power vent unit for higher efficiency and capacity. Additionally I needed some copper piping not associated with the water heater installation to be repaired. We agreed on a price and the job was completed the following day. The work was done in a professional manner and all work including an entirely new PVC venting system was completed by 4:30pm on the installation day. The additional plumbing repair work was also completed while the water was already shut down.
Description of Work: Replaced leaking hot water heater and miscellaneous plumbing repairs.

The workers were dependable and did good work when working and answered any questions i had. They were a couple days late in getting started. They took about three weeks extra time to complete the work. The original contract called for the removal of the base board heaters throughout the house. They remover 1 heater from the kitchen and repaired the wall where the heater was. i was told by Mr. Norris that they could not remove the rest of the heaters because I did't pay enough to cover the repair of the walls. I asked for a refund for the removal of the heaters I was informed that there was no extra charge for the removal of the heaters. He did manage to take all the copper pipes from all the heaters. I asked for an itemized invoice of all the work and Mr. Norris he told be he would get it for me, still don't have it a year later. Now that the 12 months from completion has passed they won't even answer my phone calls I have made to them. I will never have Mr. Norris do any other work for me. His inflated prices and not providing an invoice has made me feel extremely used and I would not recommend his company to anyone.
Description of Work: We inherited our house. The furnace was an old (about 50 yrs. old) hot water heat furnace. A neighbor recommended Will Norris Plumbing. He came and said it was indeed old, rusted out, and about 14% efficient. He recommended a heat pump. We also ordered a new water heater. His price included removing the old base board heaters. upgrade house electricity from 100 to 200 amp.

Our unit stopped working (for the 3rd time in 4 years), I felt it would be better to just replace the system than keep throwing good money after bad. Norris was quick to respond. As we had small kids and another on the way, they also came in and set up commercial heaters in the interim to keep the house warm. They got a system that could heat and cool both our upstairs and our basement and installed the unit in our basement, whereas it was originally built into a closet next to the kitchen, which was very loud and noisy. With their rework, the HVAC is quiet and works well.
Description of Work: I've had multiple jobs done by the company over several years. I believe they pull some numbers for doing the work out of thin air, however, they do a very good job overall. We had our HVAC system go out on our house, not sure if it was something we caused, prior owners, bad equipment, or a combination of all of the above. Regardless, they did a great job on getting and installing the HVAC system in a timely matter, they removed and replaced the old equipment and put in a larger, more efficient unit for the space.

They have also came out and educated me about my dishwasher and sink. The service call was great for that. The work on the sink took more plumbing than we expected. They are professional and go great work. I will use them again.

They did not give an estimate of cost prior to work. The bill did not give a break-down of cost parts and labor.

We wanted upgrade to basement bath, were convinced by Will that more extensive plumbing would improve water pressure and prevent big future problem. When I told Norris we had fine pressure he said "but when we are done you will be able to stand here [at top of yard] and spray water down there [lower end of yard]". Fact: they did nothing from the entry to outside hose bib to impact this and, of course, nothing changed. Our fault we did not double-check extensive spec write-up to see that specific things Norris said they would do were captured. One example: new floor drain. Norris workers installed 1 sink with a special trap, but installed it incorrectly and obviously so (wasn't usable), never said a word. Big time over-pomise and under-deliver.
