Freezer ice-maker stopped working about 3 - 5 years ago. Service technician came on 3-4 separate occasions. Replaced most of the mechanical parts and some of the wiring. Concluded that there was no way to repair the unit. Sent me a bill for $1200. More recently, experienced another electrical short in the refrigerator, and the refrigerator door not working properly. Service technician inspected and reported back that parts no longer available. Billed me another $200. That turned out to be incorrect - ALL parts still available. Brought in another authorized repair center. Turned out that the door problem was due to a $.35 part. The shorting problem was due to a switch. And the ice-maker malfunction (which left me without an ide-maker for 3-5 years) was due to another switch. All up: - three problems totally misdiagnosed by Mike's Video, with exhorbitant charges for non-repair. Will NEVER use these folks again, and recommend to all others to stay away!
