We initially met with Brian from Envinity to find out what all they do, and what an energy audit could do for us. We scheduled an energy audit and Brian came and too several measurements throughout the house. He described much of what he was doing as he went along and answered all of our questions. After a few days, we were provided with a detailed report on how efficient our house was and any improvements we could make. Overall our house is very efficient, so there wasn't a whole lot to do, other than maintain what we have and replace anything that needs to be down the road with the most energy efficient models. We had also had a question about our dryer and how to make sure it was vented properly and he took a look and gave us recommendations which we implemented and have greatly improved the efficiency of our dryer. We are likely to consult Envinity again for some of the various services they provide.

We thought it went very well overall. The company representative (Brian) made an effort to understand what was most important to us and to address those items first. The report they provided us was very clear and helpful, especially the list of possible improvements prioritized by cost/benefit ratio. We decided to implement (as a DIY project) the improvement that was at the top of our list: adding additional attic insulation.

Most excellent. We started with them to improve the energy efficiency of our house (separate project). When it came time to look at moving away from our oil heat, they took the time to help us understand the options and chart our best path forward which at the time was a geothermal system with a different company. The geothermal wells though, did not work for us on our land. We came back to Envinity and the time was right as the Acadia system was new and perfect for what we needed. Working with them was a pleasure. They have great attention to detail and communication through the process. Most important to us, they are craftsmen looking to do it right, not to "just get it done." The installed system has been wonderful. The heat was noticeably nicer than the oil forced air system. It seemed more even, not as dry and 'fresher' for lack of a better word. Now it is summer and the AC part of the system is quite effective. We try to minimize its use but just taking the humidity out of the air makes a big difference.
