I a Canon Pixma MP 500 printer, I was using Staples ink and had purchased a 3 pack of Canon CLI-8 for approx $35.00. When this printer died I went to Staples and purchased a new printer, spending approx $99.00. I explained to the Assist Manager Ian about the unused ink asking if I could return it for a store credit since I did not have the receipts. He said "no problem" Big problem, I did not notice until I returned home they had only credited me for 50% of the cost of the Staples ink and $5.75 for the $35.00 Canon ink. I returned to the store in Springfield, Pa and spoke to the store manager, do not know his name, he was not wearing a name tag. Totally rude and ignorant, refused any additional refund since I did not have the receipts,who keeps their receipts? So I wrote to Customer Service and heard from Martha Ridgewell in the "Office of the President" equally uncooperative, both stated they were giving me a refund at the lowest price the product had sold for in the last 14 or 30 or 90 days, depended on who you spoke to. When have you seen Canon CLI-8 3 pack sold at Staples for $5.75?? I even offered to accept a store credit! The rudeness was the breaking point. They simply do not care about the customer. If I could have returned the printer I would have!

HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPLAINED TO US WHERE TO STORE CERTAIN FILES IN ORDER TO SAVE MEMORY.
