It went very well. I recently had surgery which has left me unable to perform my usual lawn duties. I enjoy doing my own lawn and am very particular. I called one other service and talked to another in my neighborhood asking if I could get service for just the month of June but was told by both they would only except a full season contract (I had explained my situation to both . I called Mr. Monastra who was more than willing to perform services for just month of June with option of follow if I needed it. Mr. Monastra followed up with me twice to be sure to get me on their schedule. They came out today as promised and did a fantastic job complete with cleanup. My lawn looks great. I would definitely recommend their services to other members.

I have informed Mr. Monastra that we no longer wanted his service, but the lawn treatment was done anyway and we received a bill. I have offered to speak to him about a resolution to the problem, but he fails to return phone calls. The boards are coming apart, we cannot walk on the deck and we feel taken. We believe this could be resolved. The deck was installed the week of July 4th, 2008. It has a lifetime guarantee. If he can send a bill for a treatment to our lawn, he has not gone out of business. I want answers and will continue to write negative reviews until they are received. Is a return phone call too much to ask for? It's time for the better business bureau. Our lawn is a disaster.

I first contracted Glenn over 9 years ago to cut my lawn. Since then, he had been so reliable and provided a level of service and professionalism that I constantly , not only renew year over year, but I go to him first for any landscaping fix-ups, house exterior issues, etc.. He has gone out of his way to make sure that I am happy with his service and has proven himself time and time again over other landscaping providers.

Just a bad experience. I will leave my opinions out of it and just state fact. You may have a different experience but I will not use them again. From the beginning they were extremely difficult to contact. I needed landscaping outside the front of my house along with lawn cutting. They were quick to cut my lawn but that is the easy part. They didn't return my calls about the landscaping for nearly two weeks. They began cutting my lawn once a week starting in May 2009. The third week of May they came on a day that was not the usual. I was busy working on the house and told them to skip a week. They charged $15 more for the next cut. This will become more relevant shortly. By mid June they seemed to be doing a good job but a neighbor pointed out that the hill in the back of my house had become chewed up by the mower. I call the company and politely said that I didn't want to get anyone in trouble but the mower may be too powerful for the lawn cutter. No callback whatsoever. In mid July, they just stopped showing up. I called a few times with no response. I finally got my wife to call from a different number and guess what, a callback. They stated that they're mower was broken. Now, since THEY missed a week, do I get a $15 refund? Anyway, They started to cut the lawn again and apply some monthly applications which consisted of simply putting weed and feed down and charging $35 for it. In August, they simply scattered some weed and feed in a dirt spot on the lawn. They missed another lawn cut in early October. $15???? They also said they were going to air raid my lawn in late Sept or early Oct and never came. By the way, the lawn never inmproved in any way. I called over the winter to dispute some charges but we played phone tag. Finally spoke to him today and he said that this really needed to be wrapped up. I totally agreed. However, I had tried to rectify it during the phone tag session. Like I said, very difficult to get in touch with. As an aside, in the beginning I told my father in law to contact him about cutting his lawn. Guess what, NO RESPONSE!
