He will be coming back to finish the job after the tile work is finished. We have a good rapport with him, he does answer his phone and gets back to us. He comes out in a reasonable time and he is professional.

He came out right away and really fast, but efficient. I would recommend him anyone.

Decided to wait until financial situation gets better

Michael was very prompt in responding to my initial inquiry and to scheduling a date for the job. Unfortunately, on the date the job was to be done (a Friday), I waited until 30 minutes after the scheduled time and no one showed, so I called to ask about the delay. Nearly 30 minutes after that, I heard from Michael's crew that they had run into a problem at an earlier appointment and would not make it to my home that day. Naturally, I was disappointed and annoyed that they had not contacted me before I contacted them. Michael called me later that evening and apologized and immediately set me up for first thing the next business day. The crew indeed arrived at 8:30 that Monday and had finished the job professionally within an hour. The somewhat low marks I gave them are because of the lack of punctuality and communication on the initial scheduled date.

It was a very good experience. I will use him again.

Everything was great. Mike returns calls quickly shows up on time and gets it done as he says he will. I will Have him back, probably more than once.

.The technican came out within a week of my call to Casey Electric. He installed the new motor and put an on/off switch next to it to comply with code. He was professional, quick and clean. I have since recommended Casey Electric to my neighbor who has used him for a service upgrade and is planning on using him for a mjor basement project.

The guys were supposed to arrive between 10 and 10:30. They got here at 11:40, and didn't call to say they would be late, one of my pet peeves with service people. But, once here, they got down to business with dispatch. Some of what I hoped to get done turned out to be impossible without expensive and time-consuming additional work, which I decided to skip, and I haven't been billed yet so I'm guessing about the price. The electrician was very pleasant, explained what he had discovered when he got behind the wall plate and what he would need to do to add a dimmer switch to one outlet and install a second switch to let me control the lights and fan separately, and about how long it would take, all of which gave me enough info to base my decision on. He and his assistant worked efficiently and were done and gone in about 90 minutes. I had called two other electricians because I wanted three estimates. One very local person, who would probably have been cheaper, got mixed up about which day we had agreed on; when he didn't show I didn't wait. Another listened to the description of what I wanted done, made several very definite statements about the wiring that turned out not to be true, and gave me a ballpark price much higher than Mike's estimate for the same work. I chose Mike's company pretty much by default, but was very satisfied with the work done. Next time I need electrical work done I'll call him again.

Very nice and helpful over the phone. However, did not show up two different times to do small job. The first time I called and talked to him about it. The second time one of his guys called and said they were running late and would call with a late. They never called and never showed up.

They did a very nice job, and they were very nice and clean.

He was a good guy. He was very business-like. I am still considering the estimates to make a decision.

Mr. Casey came quickly, solved all the problems, and gave us useful tips about how to avoid similar problems in the future. He was very nice and very professional. The cost was very reasonable and smaller than expected. Highly recommended.

Arrived on time completed the work as scheduled/

First got an estimate to install wiring to use a portable generator, plugged into the house service panel, so we will have full use of all electric appliances in a power outage, also to run wiring and install outlet boxes on our home's exterior foundation in the front and back. Also to have few more outlet boxes installed in the front and rear of our basement. Michael Casey was fast answering our initial email to him for the estimate. Sounded like a nice guy on the phone. He came out for the estimate right on time, looked everything over and got back to us quickly with the estimate, and by the way Michael is a very nice guy in person. Laid back... no pressure and common sense approach to the work to be done. Estimate was good, gave the go ahead and his workers were out on time and completeted all of the work quickly, neatly and the two men were professional, courteous and left the place cleaner than they found it. We WILL use Casey electric in the future for all our electrical needs.

Initial call was returned promptly and date and time was set for installation. Workers arrived on time and were pleasant and professional. Pleased with the result and will definitely use in the future for further electrical work.

Excellent experience! Would definitely use Michael Casey Electric again! John arrived on time, was very professional and really fast. He repaired a shorted disposal switch and then upgraded all 3 kitchen outlets to code with new GFCI outlets, $275 total. While he was there I asked him for an estimate to replace the overhead kitchen light, he called in for an immediate estimate. So, I called for another appt. and John came with an associate and one put in the new light and the other installed a new outlet under the sink for the garbage disposal to bring it to code; $225 total (including the price of the light fixture). Fantastic! Highly recommend them!

He is very good. His prices seem reasonable for electrical work. It took him a while to come out. I think he was quite busy, but I wasn't in a rush. I contacted him after the first job and it took a while to get him out but he does very good work.

The price was half of what I thought it was going to be. His work was perfect and he was timely.

I ordered the generator 2 weeks before Hurricane Irene, so I did not get caught up in the backlog that existed post storm. But due to vacation it was installed after the storm. We confirmed the appointment, and it was done when he said it would be done. He had the generator in his shop until I returned - he didn't use it for a different job-this is important because after the storm, demand for permanent generators went to 5x more than usual. The price was good - not great; but I do not mind paying a slight premium for excellent service-which is exactly what I received.

To us, Casey Electrical is an extremely knowledgeable and professional company that I would be very comfortable hiring for emergency electrical, as well as more complicated electrical work than we were currently shopping for. While our electrical problem was minor, Mr. Casey repaired it on the spot and refused to take even nominal payment. He could have hood-winked us, but didn't. And for this reason he deserves the highest accolades. Unfortunately, for the "other" work which we planned to do, he was a bit on the pricey side in comparison to the other estimates we received. However, it was also evident that his expertise far-surpassed the other electricians whom we met. For these reasons, Casey would definitely be my first choice for any major electrical renovation or serious electrical problem.

He was timely, clean, and the quote was reasonable. The work ended up under the quote he gave.

The electricians arrived at exactly the time promised. They quickly, quietly and perfectly installed the outlet and repaired the light. They explained what had been done and cleaned up totally. They were fast, polite and efficient. It was a job well done.

I chose them because of their Angie?s list rating and I was not disappointed. I did not price compare as I wanted the work done quickly and it was one week from phone call to completion of the work.
