The $115 offer (also described as 43% off $200) for Angi members is apparently an error. I made the initial contact by clicking the "Contact This Pro" link on the offer page. The contractor called me immediately and set up an appointment. On the day of installation, the contractor seemed unaware of any offers. He said he would never do it for $115. His price would be $190, or $220 if I wanted the old fan hauled away. The offer page is still on the Angi website ([*** Link removed ***] as I write this review. I hope other members were able to use the offer. It would have been a good deal.

We would have engaged John & his company had there not been a mix up in our household! He was lightning fast in responding and very professional. We look forward to working with the company in the near future on another project.

These guys are top notch. I had DiPhillipo come by and say that all outlets had to have wires along the base boards and stick out at least a 1/2 inch from the wall. Plus he had to tear the walls apart to add them in. What?! That sounded crazy and DiPhillipo never came back with a price. JC Vella does beautiful work without tearing up your walls. And WAY cheaper than some of these outfits with big ads in the old phone book (sorry I found them in an old phone book). John is very quick to call you back. Phil even showed me how to make my central air work better! First class all the way. It was $900 for 4 outlets. Only $135 to get the electricity back on and figure out and take down the ceiling fan that was causing my electricity to keep going on. One time, John went through the electrical panel with me on the phone for free and I got electricity back. All Star charged me $333 on a Saturday granted to send Gino from Italy in an embroidered shirt to get my electricity back. But Gino did NOT fix the problem. He just left me with very high bids for installing outlets. Hire JC Vella instead. They are first class.

This is not my first time working with J.C. Vella. I have been very happy with both of the projects they completed for me. They promptly responded to my request for a quote. They arrived on time to complete the project and conducted themselves in a professional manner. Their price was a little higher than my other quotes but their proposal gave me more confidence that the results would bring me up to code.

I had an outlet that went dead but no breaker appeared to be tripped. Phil quickly identified the problem to be corrosion on the breaker contacts and replaced the breaker which restored power to the outlet.
