Description of Work: Farryn had installed a new kitchen ceiling fixture on 8/2/17. along with replacement of a circuit breaker to correct another problem.. At that time the jobs were completed timely and professionally and i was quite satisfied the tech Matt and his skill level and demeanor. On 8/28 the kitchen ceiling light failed..Since it was late at night I called 7;30 the next morning (Tues 8/29) as the ceiling fixture provided the only light source for the room and needed prompt replacement. I checked the circuits nothing was wrong and all kitchen appliances were working I spoke with John at Farryn who first said they were scheduling new appointment for 2 weeks..I said I cant wait that long without kitchen light Finally he said he could fit me into the schedule on friday-3 days later-and would call on fri. to tell me what time Since I had no lighting I called another electrician who squeezed me into his schedule that afternoon knowing my predicament. Around noon John from Farryn called and said he had a cancellation and could now come in the afternoon, I explained i had already engaged another electrician and I did not think it proper to cancel that appointment since that firm treated my loss of kitchen light as a priority. .I told John I thought it was likely the fixture was bad and he replied "IF ANYONE ELSE TOUCHES THAT FIXTURE THERE WILL BE NO WARRANTY FROM THEM' As if I had no choice and had to cancel the appointment set with a different electrician who was going out of his way to help me out The new electrician arrived shortly thereafter and indeed all wiring good but the fixture put in by Farryn had failed and had to be replaced, which he promptly did .I had him take the malfunctioning fixture away so I didn't have to deal with Trash folks who would not have taken it I did not call John again just to argue with him about the broken light fixture as he was very firm and negative when we spoke. His behavior, manner and refusal to promptly stand behind his firm's work, when given the opportunity to do so and his threat that this would void the warranty was shocking Moreover his inability to consider no kitchen lighting as something that could wait for 3 days and his failure to understand my need to engage another electrician in his stead, as a way to void any warranty, is most unprofessional at the very least

Description of Work: Very professional and knowledgeable. I had the kitchen rewired and a new service line installed. Unforeseen problems occurred and the meter and circuit box had to be replaced. He stayed with it all day until the job was done. The additional cost added to the original estimate was reasonable, I thought.

Description of Work: Installed 4 high hats in the living; installed a dedicated line with dimmer switch; dedicated the outlet that was previously tied to ligjt switch; corrected an issue with 3-way wiring in hallway stairs; fixed 2 GFCIs. | |Dan and his crew were very professional; listened and accommodated my requests; called me when encountering a few issues to talk through the solution; very trustworthy and would use him again without hesitation.

Description of Work: Replaced and installed new outlets. Installed a ceiling fan, which turned out to be difficult for several reasons beyond their concern, they didn't charge us for this extra time.

Description of Work: Farryn Electric replaced several fixtures beautifully and very professionally. Dan the owner really worked with me in regards to a prompt appointment, very fair estimate and price and working out a difficult situation very smoothly. Thanks!
