replacement windows
+ -1 moreI had researched local window suppliers and installers and checked references. Ken Haupt received very good referrals from two people I trusted. I called Ken and he gave me a bid for all the windows plus installation. He arrived on the day promised and with a crew of three obviously experienced workers. They completed all interior work the first day and finished the outside work the second day. Everything was done neatly and the work areas were cleaned up thoroughly. Job cost exactly as bid.
Description of Work: Removed all storm and double hung windows. Installed 23 Energy Saver windows including two picture windows.

doors, siding, replacement windows
+ 1 moreThe work was performed in a day for the windows and we had 19 of them. The porch took a little more time, about a week. Also for the siding it was about 3 days. We were well pleased with the clean up and work. It went very well.
Description of Work: Ken Haupt has replaced our windows twice. Once 24 years ago and again about a year ago. We are very pleased with the work, price, materials, and efficiency. Ken is very easy to talk to and very helpful. He was prompt on the job.We also had Ken enclose our back porch in 2001. We were pleased with his work then also. Prior to that we had Ken do our siding. The price was excellent and the job was outstanding.

+ 1 moreKen Haupt had a very large job to perform at my house. When the weather didn't co-operate he would call and let me know that he wouldn't be able to put the siding on that day, but was back the next day when the weather improved. He had the windows installed in one day. Ken and his employees worked room by room and were careful not to get things dirty as they worked. Ken Haupt kept me informed every step of the way. I knew when he was coming, and when he wasn't. Ken was very patient when answering my many questions. His crew cleaned up after themselves when the job was finished. They did a wonderful job on our house.
Description of Work: Ken Haupt installed 31 new windows in my house. Took out the dining room window and installed a sliding glass door. He also sided, and installed gutters on the outside of the house. Ken Haupt fixed my sagging front porch roof and installed all new supports and railings. Ken Haupt owns the business and is on the job site through out the entire job. His employees are very knowledgeable and polite.
