Our upstairs bathroom was totally re done by Jim himself. He failed to paint behind the toilet, the seams of the plywood he put up are still showing. Had to re do the tile floor a couple times because the subfloor was unlevel. The tile in the shower is a joke! Certain pieces are protruding, the shower handle is not square to where it should be, the shower head itself is off center of the handle as well. Caulk around the vanity had to be re done by his associates. Our closet door to the laundry hamper broke at the hinges and the door has now been in his possession for a couple months. I’ve tried contacting him via text message twice with no response. The quality of work doesn’t equate to the amount paid!

Last summer we had to use Jim because when we closed on our home our realtor put the money allocated for repairs from seller to her friend, Jim Hersh, so he would get the business. One of the things he had to repair was a damaged drain in our back yard. He did put the drain in and it works fine. The issue was that while digging the trench he cut our electric to all of our backyard and shed. We finally got him to come back and admit they accidentally cut the line and he repaired it. This was last fall, then we didn't use our outlets during the winter and when we finally started going outside to our shed and patio again this spring we noticed that every couple of minutes our GFCI tripped. We had a new GFCI put in by an electrician thinking it was just oversensitive. That did not work. We had another electrcian come out and he says it was from the lines being cut in the yard and not corrected properly when Hersh fixed it. We tried at least a dozen times to contact him to correct it or at the very least show us where the cut was done so we don't have to pay to have our whole yard dug up just to find where the cut was done. We emailed, called, texted and still no repsonse. We even tried to call the realtor that had us use him and still no return call.
