We had two outlets that suddenly stopped working. Tom came out and investigated the issue and found that it was actually an outlet that was still working that was causing the issue. He replaced the outlet and one other outlet that we wanted replaced and the two outlets that weren't working are now working. Would use them again in the future.

Received quotes for each job and final cost was right on quote. The electrician cleaned up after both jobs and communicated every step of the way. He was polite and trustworthy enough to let into the house while we were at work. Suburban's work is well known to local inspectors.
Description of Work: Upgraded our electrical service from 100 to 200 amp and installed two motion sensor security lights on exterior of house.

Contractor was late by two days, argued with his coworker (his son), installed 200 amp service (totally unnecessary) and left me with virtually no electricity on my first floor. He advises my spending several more thousand dollars to have that rectified. He has my signature on a contract because I was foolish to offer my trust, so I must now find a different contractor to complete the work. (I couldn't stomach the idea of giving more money to his company). I knew I was in the dark, but now I'm in the darker and in the red.
Description of Work: I requested to have knob and tube wiring removed and replaced, to make my house safe, and to be able to operate room air conditioners in 2 bedrooms. I explained having a $5K budget, and needing to rely on electrician to determine best course of action.
