Do not use this contractor
Description of Work: I found his business card in a local diner. I needed interior carpentry work. He called back immediately and showed up on time. he took a phone call while sizing up the job. He then went outside and drove away. He left lights on and windows open. I tried repeatedly and left multiple messages but he never responded again. I told him if I didn't hear from him I would post a notice on Angie;s list. My wife and I began to wonder if he stole something while he was here. FYI- i don't believe he is registered or licensed.

Description of Work: My wife contacted Johnnie regarding a leak on the celing of a bumpout. He was prompt with an estimate. Be careful that all dicussions regarding the repair are contained in the estimate. There were delays starting and finsihing the work due to sickness by him and his crew. I won't be sure that the repair was satisfactory until there is a steady rain.

Problem is that he said he would call me the next day when he was in my city( by the way he only lives 3 miles from me). But he didn't call until 4 days later. He said "Ok, I'm in town now, is it a good time for you?" I was left with the impression that he does NOT schedule appointments because I tried a second time to actually schedule and he did the same thing. By all appearances, he shows up when it is convenient for him, not the client and this is not acceptable. I gave up trying to work with him
Description of Work: I contacted this gentleman regarding several small jobs at my home. He never ended up doing any work.
