Excellent. The deck looks brand new.

The siding and garage doors were not only dirty, they had green algae build-up. The guys had to climb on the first floor roof to reach some of the worst places on the second floor. Work was completed in a reasonable time. I only set up the appointment two days ago and the work is now finished! I am very pleased with the results.

We are very satisfied with the work Davis Painting performed. Price was fair, work was quality, and the team was hard working and professional. We have a large deck so Colby brought extra hands to knock out the entire stain job (2 coats) in a single, albeit long day. I was especially impressed by the responsiveness of Colby's communication (this can't be overstated especially when a job depends on weather cooperating). I submitted a request for info via Angie's list at 11pm on a Saturday and received a response within 30 minutes. Communication and willingness to answer questions continued throughout the project. Definitely would recommend and use again. Thanks guys!

Colby was very responsive and professional. They actually go us on the schedule sooner than anticipated. The work was excellent and I would hire them again in the future.

We had a few challenges with temperature and rain, but overall I am very pleased with the end result of the cleaning and sanding provided by Davis Painting. They are quite unique in that they use multiple grades of sanding to remove existing stain and to smooth out the aged wood. Most cleaners tend to power wash stain off causing outer wood damage. I feel this purchase was very fair given the extra effort provided by the Davis crew. Additionally they moved all of my deck furniture and grills onto the ground, prior to starting the work, and came back after the work was complete to help me with two items I could not get back on the deck myself. I really appreciate this help and quality effort and look forward to spending time on my deck this summer.

I contacted Colby early last week 3/12 to ask about an estimate for the exterior of my home to be power washed. Colby said he could come out that day and take a look. He showed up and provided what I though was a very reasonable estimate for pressure washing my home. He went through the details on how/what they do. When we agreed upon that, I also figured I'd pick his brain on getting my deck re-stained. I had it done earlier in the year by a Handy Man who obviously didn't know how things needed to be applied and also suggested a product which is beyond terrible. Within 4 days of it being applied it was already starting to peal. When I told Colby this he knew right away the product that was used and said it was terrible, he also looked at the spots that had peeled and said it should have been done way differently. So I got an estimate from him on re-sanding both my deck floor and the wooden walkway that goes around most of my home. He provided the estimate on the spot, again something I though was quite reasonable and talked about when we could get both jobs started. Colby said we could get the pressure washing done relatively quickly but the deck sanding/staining would probably have to wait until sometime in April simply so the weather could be warm enough so when the product was applied there wouldn't be any issues. I totally understood that, if I'm going to be spending money I want the application done right. Though I am someone who has very little patience so was quite happy when the next day (3/13) Colby contacted me and asked if they could pressure wash my home the following (3/14). I said of course. The work done was quite good and I have 0 complaints about the exterior cleaning and would definitely recommend. I was then contacted by Colby shortly after the pressure washing was done and he said because of the break in the weather, we could get the sanding and staining completed this week. I was quite happy to hear that so I said go for it. My deck and walkway were power washed on Tuesday and Colby confirmed that the next day they would be back to sand and stain. As they were sanding my deck Colby saw just had bad of a job was previously done. They had been sanding for quite some time to that point and hadn't gotten very far. Colby pointed out to me that not only was the previous layer not sanded for application but the one before that as well. Obviously this wasn't something he could be aware of before hand. So I simply asked him, what would he do, he suggested to get everything sanded down for the best application and I agreed. He provided and estimate which again I though was reasonable considering the amount of work for 2 guys and they continued to sand and then stain. The final product (next day still can't walk on it) I think looks quite good. Only time will tell obviously but Colby warranties his work so I have no doubt that the final/dry product after foot traffic will hold up like he said. All in all I would absolutely recommend using Colby and Davis Painting, he's upfront, communicates well which is very important for me and does a great job.

Colby was referred to me from a family member so I thought I''d contact him. He made a great first impression and responded to my inquiry and questions right away. He was out to give me an estimate within a weeks time and was willing to work with me to provide the services I needed. He and his crew came out a few weeks later and painted the 2 story foyer. They came at the time they indicated, on time, and got right to work. They prepared the walls, fill holes, sanded imperfections, caulked, and painted the ceiling and the walls. The walls are very tall and one extends way above the steps, so I was very happy to have someone else paint them and especially that ceiling. His crew was pleasant, cleaned up after themselves, and I felt comfortable having them in my home. The walls look great and we are very happy with the results. Will call them again for some additional work.

Contacted Davis Painting a week ago and asked for a price to paint the 10 shutters in the front of my house. Colby replied the same day with a price. Since it is November, we anticipated that we would get this done in the spring, but Colby called on Friday and said he can do it on Monday. The painters covered everything in the front of the house to avoid any potential of staining my driveway or walkway. The painters were very careful when working against the house. They applied two coats of the paint and did the job in about three hours. I think they did an outstanding job and would use them or recommend them again with no hesitation.

Colby Davis and his crew were prompt, professional, and thorough and the results were excellent. He took the time to go over everything with me and to make sure I was satisfied with each stage of the work. He clearly explained all options and what to expect going forward with respect to deck maintenance. The crew worked very hard while they were here. Colby was easy to reach and returned calls in a timely manner. I was very satisfied all around.

Prompt response to messages when setting up the jobrk. They came when they said they would. They called ahead which was appreciated. Very good job. Pleased with their work.Highly recommended.

I could not have asked for a better experience. I purchased a deal on Angie's List for deck cleaning and maintenance. Colby contacted with via email within 24 hours and was out to see my property within 48 hours. Once the deck was power washed, Colby recontacted us to complete the remaining work within 2 days. Colby communicated with me through out the entire process and set the expectations. When he and his crew were at my home, they were very professional. Consistently working and cleaning up at the end of the day. End result is we have a transformed deck that was in need of some TLC which Colvy gave. I would highly recommend Davis Painting.

We contacted Colby for an estimate and he responded promptly and was on time. The entire house hadn't been painted in many years and needed a lot of preparation, which included sanding and some restoration. He and his crew were timely, polite, courteous and cleaned up at the end of every day. This was the first time we had a professional painter and Colby was helpful assisting us in making some decisions in how the various doors and trim could be painted. Our house looks fantastic and we would definitely recommend Davis Painting to others and call him in the future for any additional painting projects.

Davis Painting was so thorough that our deck looked gorgeous for my husband's birthday party! They were thoughtful and put as many things back on the deck as they could possibly do before leaving! Our deck looks brand new!!!

Davis Painting did an excellent job. The power washing was thorough. The removed items from the deck and returned them to complete the job. I had purchased the $150/600 sq.ft package; and my deck was a little large as the footage for the railings to be included, so there was a reasonable up-charge of $75 (so $225 total). I could have opted to exclude those had I really wanted to. They were thorough, complete, and neat in the clean-up. I also received a quote to have the deck restained from Davis: I am deciding if I will proceed with them, or do so myself, but they provided a timely quote and discussed the options. Very happy overall with service.

Colby, the owner is wonderful to work with. He is very prompt and courteous in responding to a request of service. I was able to have my deck cleaned beautifully today due to a cancellation and Matt (his assosciate) was also great. I would use this company again without hesitation. Very polite, professional, respects the property and will do extra work without hesitation. Our deck looks fantastic! He worked hard as we have alot of trees/pollen in our back yard so the deck was in need of a good cleaning. I plan on using him again for indoor painting, etc.

The owner called me right away and scheduled within a day of purchase. The next day they came and did an amazing job. I have Trex and it had mold and algae all over. I was getting prices to replace it with new boards and thought I would try cleaning. Amazing!!! It looks brand new.

My wife and I were vacationing from April 25-May 7th and I had the genius idea of having our deck done while we were gone to avoid any conflict of having it done while there. The downside was that I came up with this idea TWO days before we left. I came home for lunch one day and searched Angies list to look for local contractors to do the job. I found Davis Painting LLC and Ron Rahmer Handyman. I contacted both and explained the situation just to see if it was even a possibility. Both said "yes" and while Davis gave me a time that they would be there later that day, The other company made promises that simply fell through. Colby Davis met me at around 5 pm that very day, gave me a quote and explained in detail what would be done. He told me he would send me a professional quote later that evening via email, although he DID give me a quote right then and there. Lo and Behold, within two hours I had my quote, spoke it over with my wife and we hired Davis to do the job while we were gone. They, of course needed water to pressure wash my deck and I showed them where the spigot was to hook up to. Having never vacationed for two weeks in a row and always fearing the worst, I turned the water off to the house, not thinking about the need for water to pressure wash the deck. The men simply spoke with one of my neighbors, gave them a few bucks to use their water and had it done in no time (I asked the neighbor if they were professional and gracious and he assured me they were). Upon returning from our vacation at 2 AM, I looked out upon the deck and noticed that it had been stripped and sanded and guessed that it was drying. The men arrived before 8 am the next day and did some finishing sanding and began staining. They had 3-4 men there at all times and were constantly working. I was initially worried about the men getting stain on a brand new sliding patio door we just had installed as I had previously done the deck and got stain on the old door. They got right up to the door without getting a drop on the door frame, down spout, window sills.......anything. I could not have been ANY happier with the job that they did and refered them to my in-laws later that day as they were looking for someone to do the same thing

Davis Painting LLC is a superb company. Colby, the owner, was very responsive and kept on top of the project from beginning to end. It was a pleasure working with such a friendly and professional crew. The deck looks beautiful already after the cleaning. I plan on having Colby come back to finalize with a deck staining/preservative product as soon as possible. By the way, Colby has a fantastic website to view past projects and to get color ideas. I strongly recommend this company.

Arrived on time. Communications before and during the job were excellent. Colby and his worker were very respectful and pleasant to deal with. Colby asked me to inspect the job when they finished . I couldn't have asked for a better job -- very thorough, efficient, and professional.

The job went great. Colby showed up exactly when he said he would and made the house look great again. We had a lot of algae stains on the side of our house, it looked horrible. A biodegradable solution was used to first treat the siding, followed by the pressure washing. Colby spent much more time on our house then expected. I couldn't find one single area missed...and I looked Carefully. Davis Painting, LLC. is a fantastic company, run by an owner that really cares about the finished product. As a business owner myself, I set very high standards on my work. Davis Painting clearly shares the same standards that I look for in my work. We will be sure to use them in the future.

Colby and his team were very responsible and did a great job. Job was delayed by one day due to winter weather but communication was great. Estimated to be a two day job but they finished in one.
