My husband and I are handy but we didn’t know how to start and finish a kitchen remodel. Ken, at Coventry Workshop, helped us build our dream kitchen! Not only did we save money by helping with the project, but he also taught us how to install cabinets, do a subway tile backsplash and how to cut a cabinet for an apron sink. Ken gave me so much confidence that I decided to tackle repainting my kitchen table. After his guidance of what I needed to do, I changed my dated brown table to a beautiful modern white table, which went perfectly with my new kitchen. I would definitely recommend using Coventry Workshop. I know we will again!

Excellent experience with Ken at Coventry Workshop! Ken gave me hands-on training and let me assist with our kitchen demolition / remodel. He even taught me how to cut tile and lay an entire tile floor! What’s more, Ken helped with measurements and had wonderful design suggestions that we used when working with the retailer where we bought our cabinets. From start to end, Ken was there and guided me along the way. Couldn't have done it with out his expertise. I learned a great deal from Ken and look forward to the next home project with him. I would highly recommended him to any family and friends. In addition, my mother-in-law always calls Ken for projects / repairs in her historic home. She trusts anything he does will be quality work and will also maintain the historic look of her home.

Ken of Coventry Workshop is a perfectionist and his work is of the highest standard. He was incredibly personable and trustworthy too. He felt like a true partner in my projects and not just a contractor. I trusted him with access to my home when I wasn't there and had no issues whatsoever. Ken completed a custom gate to match our existing railings finish. He was very responsive and open to suggestion. We would hire Ken again for our custom home projects.

Ken (the owner of Coventry Workshop) is a perfectionist. He improved the wall where he installed two medicine cabinets and raised them to ensure I could open them optimally even though it required more work than he bargained for. When the old vanities were removed, he found that the original home builder never completed the tile flooring underneath. Ken suggested creating a kickboard to put around the bottom of the vanities to hide the missing floor tiles. My one day project turned out twice as long for Ken and his plumber Ron, but they both rolled with it and maintained a great sense of humor along the way. In the end, the project turned out great. I really enjoyed working with them and recommend Coventry Workshop for bathroom, kitchen, and general contracting projects.

Tile in some areas are very wavy. SP stated it was because the walls weren't leveled. He use a product called mastic which was not the proper product to use to level out walls. When i looked at the manufacturers recommendation max 6 in 6 in he did 6 in by 24 in. He was the kindest nicest man but just wasn't the most credible. Don't believe he was skilled to do large tile the correct way.

Ken and his crew were very professional and helpful in telling us what should be replaced in the partial updating of our 35 year old bathroom remodeling job. Ken also came up with some inexpensive and creative ideas in our sink and vanity area giving it a bit of a country feel that turned out great. We felt Ken and his crew of professionals were always straight forward with us on the work that needed to be done and the estimated price of that work. I would recommend Coventry Workshop to others. I already have them scheduled to Install a new kitchen ceiling in the few weeks.

I was referred to Coventry Workshop by a friend who had used this service. I contacted the owner, Ken Klossman, who set up an appointment with me the very next day. He arrived on time, and shared some photos of work he had done, along with samples of products and ideas for my kitchen project. As this was my first time undergoing such a big project, I found his professional opinions and suggestions extremely helpful. Once we decided on a plan, Ken took over and my project was underway! He kept me informed every step of the way, was at my home every day as scheduled, and kept the mess to a minimum! My beautiful new kitchen was totally completed within the time frame Ken gave me, and even came in under the initial budget! Ken's attention to detail added so many nice touches to my kitchen that I would have never thought of....I found that during the process, I came to trust his judgment and gave him authority to do what he felt would look best. I would not hesitate to recommend Coventry Workshop to anyone in need of any type of home improvement; he did as great a job on my friends small project as he did on my big one! Ken is an honest, professional, sincere and talented guy who will make your project his top priority!!!

We are VERY happy with Ken Klossman's work. We have used his services for over 20 years. He is always on time. He can be trusted to be in your home when you are not home. He is a neat worker that cleans up after himself. We have been very satisfied with his work and will continue to use his services.

Every one of Ken's jobs have been thorough, complete and on budget. He is a perfectionist, and works well with you. He will offer suggestions, while listening to your ideas. Many times. the end project was a collaboration of our ideas. Specifically…. - He redid a powder room, removed an old shower, installed drywall, tile floor, a new toilet, cabinet, glass counter and basin bowl, light fixtures, mirror, painted walls and molding. - He redid another guest bathroom, taking out dated single sink, mirror, cabinets and toilet, removing wallpaper, and installing a double sink and vanity and new tiles and new mirror and painting the room. - He took an old office and made it into a "project room", installing a desk in the middle of the room, and shelving along the walls. Some of the old shelving was renovated with special recessed lighting. The new shelving was also installed. For this project, he custom made a cabinet to house television equipment. He also installed the television. - Ken charges by the hour with additional cost of materials. - I will continue to call Ken for any necessary job that comes up around the house. He is fantastic.

We have used the coventry workshop for ALL of our carpentry/repair/fun projects since 2002. The very first project that was completed for us was a repair/fix of the crown molding and other details in our new construction house. The home builder who first installed our kitchen did a sub-par job, so we were referred to the Coventry Workshop to fix what the builder ruined. COVENTRY WORKSHOP MADE MY KITCHEN and HOME BEAUTIFUL BY FIXING/INSTALLING ALL OF THE DETAILS! Beautiful crown moulding on the cabinets, increased out storage by building me a closet under the stairs which we used for paper product and house hold cleaning storage. He also built/designed/installed a huge cedar closet in our bedroom from dead space he found behind our walls due to a poor builders design. Coventry workshop also converted my third garage bay and built an amazing laundry/mud room…. COMPLETE WITH A LAUNDRY CHUTE!! He extended our deck, tiled our bathroom floors, and installed a beautiful drop ceiling in my finished basement. When it came time to sell our house, the couple who bought it said it was the kitchen and all of the other amazing details that the Coventry Workshop created that made the purchase a home run for their family. (It sold in less than 2 weeks). Most recently, Coventry Workshop, Mr. Ken Klossman (Mr. Ken as my kids now call him) came to measure and listen to my needs and wants regarding my shoe storage dilemma in our new project house's laundry room. He made great suggestions to better my shoe shelf idea to make my new shelves more user friendly. Ken came out a week later built my shelves in a day. He is ALWAYS on time, keeps a clean work station, and always cleans up before he leaves. He is fun and friendly to our animals and kids, and I am very comfortable with him around my family. If you want a project done right, from building shelves, furniture, bathroom/kitchen redo, or even build a deck, Coventry workshop is the place to call. His prices are VERY fair, and he stands behind his work. For our next project, Coventry Workshop will be converting my attic into a bedroom for my girls.
