Bill and his crew did a wonderful job trimming and shaping multiple trees in our yard. He contacted us in a timely fashion and we had no problem setting up a time for them to come and do the work. They cleaned up very well and even took care to not drive on our grass because the soil was soft that day. They finished their work just a bit ahead of schedule and asked if there was anything else we would like them to do. Before he left, Bill made sure we were happy with the work they had done. We would definitely use them again.

It went very well. BG Services even cleaned up fallen branches and twigs. They also cleaned up wood chippings from the street outside my house.

Job was completed in reasonable time. Clean-up was complete.

B and G services came out to remove a holly tree and prune all trees on property. They were very prompt, professional and courteous. They were reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Working with Bill was a great experience. Initially, he came and walked the property, so that we could discuss which trees needed to be tackled first. We needed to have a crane brought in, and he coordinated that process. He and his team brought the trees down, chipped and removed the trees and cleaned up the grounds. He was always punctual and professional. We have already recommended his services to our neighbor, and will use him again. I would recommend him without hesitation.

We were so pleased with his service, and intend on making him our go-to guy for trees and probably other things (after I check his website). He care about what he is doing, answers my questions and gives me confidence in the future of my trees.

He was extremely helpful, so much so that I have made him my landscaper as well

It went really well. I bought the Angie's list deal knowing I had more work than would be needed than covered by the hours that I bought. Bill, the owner, came out to look at my property and explained what needed to be done, the scope of work, and the time it would take to complete. We agreed on the price and set the appointment for him to do the work. He did the work today, was on time, and as promised competed everything in a timely manner. His approach and his work (and his crew) were very professional. I highly recommend his services.

They were good. It was everything I expected and they did a good job. They did everything well and at least as much as I expected. The workers were fine and they cleaned up very nicely.

Because of the location of the tree, we would need a special equipment, Bill stated that this will cost twice as much. He was very accommodating in terms of scheduling the estimate, Very professional and extremely honest. I would definitely hire him for his services in the future.

While he did remove all of the brush, he damaged my house severely while doing it, putting holes in my insulation and stripping my stucco overlay with his weed wacker in SEVERAL places. He told me that he had never heard of foam insulation before and how was he supposed to know that my house had this on the outside. My question is: If he saw the damage he was doing, why did he continue to do it on several more areas around the house?He said he would come fix the damage, but never made an appointment to fix it. He called me one day and left a message that he was in the area, but not having notified me before of this, i was not home. In the end, he never came to fix it (please see pictures), so I have no reason to believe that he even intended on doing so in the first place. In addition, he ground down the stumps to the trees he cut down for $400, then left MOUNTAINS of wood chips and didn't grind some of the stumps. When I asked him to clean this up as well, he told me it would be an ADDITIONAL $400 to clean up the wood chips, and that "everyone knows that that is how it works." I, unfortunately did not know this. I will never hire Bill again. His QUALITY of work is awful, and once he received his money, he was unresponsive and never came back to fix the holes in the house that he left. I had to make these repairs myself at my own cost.

Bill was very good at accommodating all our requests.

Great. Bill and his crew spent all day doing the job, longer than expected but no complaints. Prompt, courteous, efficient tree work. Stacked pieces for firewood, took my input for some trunk pieces to save for woodworking. Very pleased overall.

It went really well. He was prompt in coming out to give me a quote. Bill was very accommodating in getting the work scheduled in the time I needed. He can be counted on to do a great job. My neighbors commented on the speed and precision in which he took down the tree. Bill did such a wonderful job at removing the stump too and full clean up of limbs and sawdust that you would never know a tree was ever there!! BG Services will be the first and probably only call I make for future tree work. I will use him again and refer others as well. Thanks for doing a great job!

Bill was great to work with, and answered my emails and calls really quickly. He came out first to see the scope of work we needed, we then sent a list summarizing all we discussed. He and his crew came out soon after, and performed all we asked for. The crew was great ( and were able to work around another crew that was installing a fence coincidently on the same day ! ), and and did a wonderful job of cleaning up the area when they were done. Bill also walked around with us and pointed out some insect/disease issues we had with a few of our trees, and offered up some suggestions and additional services he could offer. Overall, we were very pleased, and plan to have him out again to do some stump grinding and additional services in the future.

I called the number that was listed. They just said, ?Hello? when I called. I asked if it was BG Services and she told me that ?he wasn?t there right now and she could take a message.? In the middle of my message, I was hung up on. No one called me back. I went on the website to get a second number for them. When I called the second number there was no indication that it was BG Services. No one ever returned my call.

The crew did exactly what we wanted and cleaned the property when they were finished. They even cut a tree down for the neighbor.

Bill just left. I am so happy I came right online to write a review! One word sums up Bill's and his crews work: WOW. He came on time ready to go with one more guy than expected. He finished almost 1.5 hours sooner than I expected. His crew worked very hard and were professional. Bill safely took down all trees, bushes, and shrubs as promised. He ground the stumps down. His men also shaped some other bushes and trees. The crew also cleaned the lot excellently. I'm going to bring him back. Bill gave advice and feedback. When asked to do something, he did it with no complaints. I was so happy I tipped his crew. Lastly, before Bill came out, he patiently worked with me on the project scope, contract, and schedule. He was very responsive via email during this period.

Bill is very responsive. We agreed upon a price to take down a Beech tree. I requested and was granted mats on the soft wet winter ground to support the crane. The team of 5 was incredible. I watched them work safely with each other, never hurried and worked cautiously. When they were dropping huge logs they were careful not to bang into the second floor deck. To appreciate how huge this Beech was, the stump is 34" round and the tree was 115 feet high. The base of the tree itself was no more than 5' 5" from the deck and it's pilings. At my request, Bill cut the stump 32" high and it's even level. I didn't need the wood but did request some of the Beech mulch from their Chipper for my parking spaces. They dumped more than sufficient amount for my needs. I have only one complaint. At the end of the day they blew all the debris, all the sticks, all the saw dust onto that mulch pile. It was quite the chore separating clean mulch from that load of rubbish and have 3 very large trash cans full to show for it. Would I use them again? Absolutely.

B G was very responsive. The trees look great. Bill gave me some advice for addressing top root growth of a silver maple. He's very knowledgeable.
