Description of Work: Cut down and removed trees from property. They listened to what I needed done and then completed the work.

Description of Work: BG Services installed a heat and light filtering film on a large picture window in my office. It has significantly reduced the heat and glare issues I was having sitting next to that window all day.

Description of Work: Deal was for tree pruning by 3 workers for 8 hours but they were in and out of here in under 2 hours. No hard hats or any safety equipment. They only trimmed what they could reach with a pole mounted power saw from the ground. No one climbed any tree to trim higher branches and I did not see any safety harnesses. When I pointed out the higher branches I wanted trimmed the contractor told me it was not good for the tree. Worst Angie's list deal ever!

Description of Work: Rescheduled twice. Showed up over an hour late. Dropped a tree that was supposed to be left standing which is too big and heavy to remove. Did not complete priority work - reason for hire - to remove limbs overhanging house. Did cut and stack a fair amount but vendor was specifically told not to waste time on that as I can cut and chip myself. So...the limbs still overhang my house. I no longer have a 100+ year old oak to view the lower 40 or so feet nor is it available for wildlife. It is stuck in my yard as a constant reminder and the limbs remain. He did return once to remove some deadwood that was a danger to the house. The work he agreed to was not done and he took all the money. I am glad so many had a good experience but wish I had not gone by the Angie's list reviews.

Description of Work: He was OK, I think better details of the service, the T&C, etc were needed and he agreed. He seemed honest; they worked hard; just not too professional. He is located a bit far away, so I probably would not use him again for that reason.

Description of Work: Provided an overall clean-up of tree limbs (and some trees) that needed to be removed. Put some through a wood chipper and left for us (at our request) and took the rest with them. Hard-working crew --- my only, very minor, issue was they started wrapping up about 30 minutes prior to the previously agreed 'end' time. I questioned this, and then they did 30 more minutes of work, picking up/chipping tree limbs and brush from the ground in our woods.

Description of Work: I was contacted by Bill & we met at my property for a quick walk-through the grounds, pointing out what I thought should be done (cutting back tree branches from over the house). He also pointed out things that he would do (thinning out overgrown trees). |As I need to be at my business during the day, by meeting first with him I was able to have them come out to do the work without my being there- a major plus. They showed up with a chipper & truck, and not only removed many branches but also chipped them up & left me with no mess (other than a forgotten plastic Wawa coffee mug!). |A long overdue (on my part) job done well...

Description of Work: the contractor damaged my white picket fence when he took a pear tree down. did not report this to me. | |contractor took an evergreen tree down and left the tree cuttings on the property. Per our agreement, this should have been taken away.

Description of Work: Bill contacted me right away and was here today to cut back a huge Oak tree over my deck and leveled out 3 smaller trees in the back of my property. The work was done very much to my satisfaction and all the debris removed. Price was reasonable. A very nice man, I would highly recommend Bill and will definitely use him in the future

Description of Work: Beyond the work included in the A.L. Big Deal, I had them remove a giant maple tree. I felt the first price he quoted was too high, but he quickly agreed to meet my price. The first time they came out was to take care of large limbs that had fallen after a big storm. They came, but left a dangerous limb hanging, which we had agreed they would cut down. They did come back and remove it.When they came back to cut down the entire tree, everything went very smoothly.

Description of Work: He removed 4 trees and grinded a couple stumps. He also pruned all my other trees. They did a couple jobs at my house. They are very good. The owners are great to work with. The price was good and the work was done well. He really goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied.
