SERVPRO OF SOCIETY HILL

Servpro Society Hill came out to my house when we noticed mold on the drywall due to humidity in the room and lack of airflow due to dressers being directly infront of the wall. I decided to remove the drywall to determine if there was mold in the interior of the wall just to be safe and when I noticed what I believed to be mold I called up to get an experts opinion. When they arrived they did a visual inspection to determine if they saw any concerns as well as at my request they did an actual swab test of the wall to see if and what type of mold was back there. The rep gave me some idea of what it would cost to encapsulate the wall if it was determined to be mold and the process and informed me that the results would be in the following day. The results were delayed a full day by a miscommunication between Servpro and the lab which showed low levels in which I was going to treat myself. When I decided to remove the wall insulation I noticed what appeared to have what looked like a more clustered appearance of mold. I was very disappointed that the original rep didn't notice this as that was what I paid to have an inspection for. I contacted the office and the next day they sent out the supervisor and their contractor to take a look at what I found and determined the best course of action. Because of this the expected cost to have the work done went up by a few hundred dollars over the verbal estimate, but was not excessive. A few days later the technician came to my house to clean up the mess. The tech in my mind was so considerate of my belongings, removing items from the wall to ensure that they didn't get dusty or damaged as he removed drywall. He covered up all of my belongings with plastic and was very considerate in explaining his process and timeline with me. I was very excited with the results of the work and very pleased, so while it may not have started out as the best experience the technician made the results and my final review very positive.
